"Spacious & quiet room with comfortable beds and well-appointed bathroom. Decor had a 1920’s-30’s-era Stanford collegiate vibe–very different from today’s typical corporate modernist hotel style. Bonus points for a nice rooftop lounge, on-site restaurant / bar, and lobby with plenty of seating"

"This is a great hotel with the cutest vibe, friendly staff, and great location. The only awful thing about this place is that I got food poisoning after eating at their rooftop restaurant/bar. Its a seafood theme with lots of crudo and raw dishes, you’d think their chefs would be meticulously preparing each dish - NOT!"

"I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service from Olivia, a member of the cleaning and maid services department at the Graduate hotel. Her remarkable dedication and quick thinking in a challenging situation left a lasting impression on me. During my recent stay, when a morning waiting staff member failed to show up for their shift, the situation could have turned chaotic. The manager was on the verge of closing the hotel restaurant, leaving guests, including myself, waiting for breakfast service. However, Olivia stepped in and assessed the situation with poise and determination. Instead of allowing services to be disrupted, Olivia made the bold decision to keep the restaurant open. She recognized the importance of providing uninterrupted service to the guests and convinced the manager to give her the opportunity to fill in as a waiting staff member. What amazed me the most was Olivia's ability to adapt and excel in an entirely unfamiliar role under immense pressure. Despite the challenges, she maintained a high level of professionalism and delivered outstanding service to every guest she attended to. Olivia's actions exemplify true leadership qualities that are essential in the hospitality industry. Her proactive approach and commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction make her a valuable asset to the hotel team. In my opinion, individuals like Olivia deserve recognition and opportunities for advancement within the organization. As someone who frequently visits Palo Alto for work and typically stays at the Four Seasons, I was initially hesitant about trying a new hotel. However, Olivia's exceptional service at the Graduate has completely changed my perspective. Her dedication and customer-centric attitude have made me a loyal patron of the hotel. Olivia serves as a refreshing reminder of the impact that exceptional customer service can have on guest experiences. I sincerely hope that she receives the recognition and opportunities she deserves to lead and inspire others within the hospitality industry.
