"I lived here years ago, and stayed sick because of mold. Someone came to clean out the air ducts and told me that they were some of the worst they’d seen. I now have a friend living here and she is dealing with the same thing, and they refuse to help. I would avoid this apartment complex like the plague. It’s old and overpriced. They need to deal with their issues or tear the place down."
"I’ve lived here roughly 7 months and love it! They are very attentive to any concerns or issues and the grounds are maintained well. The communication is clear and I genuinely feel like they want you to feel at home here (s/o to Shauntay & Madison). Which you don’t usually find in rental property groups anymore. The apartments are also spacious, up to date and private! 10/10 would recommend The Hammond!"
"So far, so great! I haven't been here long but I do believe it is a wonderful place to live. I recieved a cute welcome basket when I got in (which I've never had an apartment do) and the new renovations looks amazing! There are some old "wear and tear" in simple ways but none that is a true bother. It's a cute place, just get ready for a lot of stepping because it's full of stairs."
"Mixed feelings, staff was nice. Property needed better lighting - inside and out, more dog poop stations, and maintenance needed better follow through. The buildings are old and it shows. But the office staff was responsive and kind."
"Been here just over a year and still loving it! Apartment layout varies, but our garden 2 bedroom is great. Spacious and comfortable, fairly new appliances. Saltwater pool is great, kept up well, and generally pretty peaceful during the week with a little uptick in people on the weekend. Rosemary (property manager) is amazing and friendly as are her assistants... Katie and the rest of the maintenance crew have been awesome as well any time we've had an issue. Relatively well priced, in a quiet, wooded area within 3 minutes from grocery, banks, and restaurants. I dig this place!"
