Spring Meadow

"As some others have mentioned, the only reason I stayed here as long as I did was the price. I was almost never able to get someone in the front office on the phone, was almost always sent to voicemail. The unit I was staying in was incredibly outdated besides some newer appliances in the kitchen. Walls were also very thin, I could often hear my neighbors having conversations at a normal volume in certain areas of the unit. I found out they had been charging me a pet fee for several months even though I did not have a pet, and was told there was nothing they could do to refund me the money. They refused to even take the amount I had paid off my rent the next month. A storm came through and blew some shingles off of the roof of the building my unit was located in, and rainwater started pouring in through the ceiling fans and light fixtures. When I got the front office on the phone, I was told that maintenance was on lunch but they'd get to it when they could. When they did come out, they fixed the shingles, but not before my ceiling had huge brown splotches on it from water damage. When I asked what the plan for repairs was, I was told to just keep my ceiling fans and lights off where water had leaked in for the time being. I never heard back. Maintenance did come by and leave a new AC filter at my door once, so that was nice. The community laundry units are a joke. Only about half of the machines are functional, they do not keep up with maintenance on them, and can't even be bothered to properly take the ones that don't work out of service. I did see the front office take charge and show some real initiative once, and it was to leave a note at my door threatening me with eviction on the literal first day my rent was considered late. After almost 2 years of on time payments and zero infractions. If you're looking for affordable (If that word means anything in Knoxville anymore), this may be the place for you. But just know, you get what you pay for."

"These Apartments are owned by CJ Lombardo management company. Home office (corporate) located in new Jersey. They Own multiple properties. BLACK MOLD exposure, there are many reasons I'm unhappy with them. The Main one right now is MY HEALTH. Declining health for the better part of two years. Repeated and frequent infections, etc just cant get well & stay there! Black mold exposure can definitely be a contributing factor or even cause of many illnesses. Hope this review will be considered by anybody before moving here. Former managers Annette and Katy and Charlie... were all A1 top notch, and cared about their tenants first, not just money."

"Been living here 2 years. Very quiet place to live and everyone is very friendly. So far maintenance has been prompt to fix any issues I’ve had, but I’m not a needy tenant and my place was newly renovated. There is an initial deposit and pet deposit and then a pet monthly fee. My main complaint is that the main office isn’t very good at responding to emails once you become a tenant. Overall the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. Feels pretty safe! Good amenities and its well maintained. I’ve had no real issues. Very affordable for Knoxville. I would recommend them to anyone looking."

"I lived here the beginning of 2023 and I have to say this is the best apartment I've ever lived in. The maintenance guys are amazing and they truly care. The office team, Hannah and Chase have been so helpful and friendly. The complex feels so safe and it's very clean and well maintained. I have a 2 year old so that means a lot to me when it comes to him being able to play outside. All in all, this place is incredible. 5 stars for sure!"

"Spring Meadow Apartments is by far one of the best complexes in East Knoxville. I lived there for over 5 years while going to school and never had any issues. The staff is friendly and nice, maintenance was always taken care of quickly, and the community is friendly and safe. If you’re looking for a nice, safe, convenient, and affordable place to live Spring Meadow Apartments should be your first choice."
