"Editing my review after living here for over a year into my 15 month lease. My experience overall has been good. For context, I’ve worked from home the majority of my time living here so I have spent a lot of time at my apartment. I live alone with my 2 dogs and feel safe as a single woman living here. I love that it is pet friendly and maintenance has always been very quick to respond to any issues (there have been multiple things pop up since the building’s a bit older) and by quick, I mean same day or the next day. Everyone in the office has always been pleasant to me. The area is extremely convenient with TONS of nearby food and shopping options! I have never had a bug problem, especially with pest control coming quarterly. The biggest con is the price and parking. I got my 1 Br on special for $999. After the fees & pet rent, I pay around $1150. For 500 sq feet, I just couldn’t justify the price, especially having a large dog who deserves a yard. That’s my main reason for moving! I would recommend this complex for students, couples, and young adults with roommates."

"Listen to the reviews, DO NOT RENT HERE. Roaches, mice, and rats run rampant in the apartments. Garbage is always overflowing out of the dumpsters. Parking is horrible. Maintenance requests go ignored for months. Broken appliances and water leaks are commonplace. Front doors and locks are left busted and hanging off hinges. Other residents are porch pirates. The only thing the owners, Brookside Properties, care about is overcharging their residents to live in squalor. I will never rent from a Brookside Properties owned complex again. I feel as if I was scammed."

"I rented here for a year and wouldn't recommend it at all. The apartments are old, they have bug problems, and the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor sigh. Maintenance never shows up even if you put in a request and the staff who deal with lease and payment issues are not accommodating or friendly. All of this for the low low price of at least $1,000 a month! Just find another place to live, never rent here."

"The complex is dirty, there are bugs everywhere, the common areas are filthy. The staff is rude and condescending as soon as you sign your lease. There is never any parking and they have a company come and tow cars regularly. If you complain about their section 8 tenants they will evict you and lie about why. They lied and said I had a past eviction, funny the complex I live in verified that was untrue as well as a PI. So we are now in the process of going after them for discrimination. This place and the people who run it are terrible. Do yourself a favor and run away. They do not take care of anything. They put lipstick on a pig and called it upscale, when it’s really the ghetto."

"Misty is running the place into a real dump as fast as she can. She left a dumpster there for almost 3 months and never had it emptied. That is what attracted all the mice. I called them frequently and both Summer and Misty assured me that it would be emptied soon. Eventually, they put 2 dumpsters there blocking it where no vehicle could drive around the building. I submitted numerous work orders to fix the water running in our apartment every time it rained. That took them around 4 months to replace a downspout on the gutters so the water didn't run under our door every time it rained. Someday that $25 gutter connector will be seen as much cheaper than removing the mold where the water runs under the flooring and down the wall into the apartment below. We moved out before our lease was up, due to the mice. Misty and Summer didn't consider the reason we moved out early, all that mattered to them was we left before our lease was up. They both certainly enjoy the power that comes with their jobs. I would love to talk to any investors in the property and show pictures and videos of items that will cost you money in the long run."
