"Save yourself money and look somewhere else to live. There’s been apparently a water leak for the last 4-6 months, water has been shut off at least one day every single week and apparently they still have not fixed the leak. Apartments have poor insulation so you’re going to be cold anywhere in the apartment. Thermostat is set to max at 71 degrees and no more, this doesn’t help with the drafts everywhere. Maintenance was a joke, took them 4 month to repair a bathroom water leak in my apartment. They will nickel and dime you. Look somewhere else, you’ll thank me."
"this is what they did to my apartment because they refused to fix it properly before i moved in. money hungry dirt bags. they left all the stains on the floor for me to clean by the way(: they literally care about nothing but getting you in, keeping your money, and getting you out so they can raise the rent and repeat the cycle. slumlords to the max."
"Take it from an actual resident and not the front office’s friends who leave reviews without living here. Property management (that literally changes every other month) absolutely could not care less about you, other than to take your money and raise rent every renewal. The maintenance team is….. rather unconcerned about your issues and will attempt to half a** as much as possible and delay fixing anything. Constant “water leak repairs” that have been going on the last 3 years I’ve lived here. Clearly continuing to slap a bandaid on a serious issue. Our water is often shut off for hours at a time, conveniently at 8am as people wake up to go to their job. The pool was closed all last year. I absolutely do not recommend renting here. Their response to criticism is always “if you’d like to stop by the office or contact us please come by the office” and when you stop by the office… they are either closed or the property manager is never there. You’re lucky if you get a response to an email or a phone call, practically nonexistent."
"You may have noticed some negative reviews here, but now that the property is under new management, things have remarkably changed for the better. I've been a renter my whole life. This complex has the fastest response time with their maintenance service that I've ever seen. More than once, they've shown up the following day after I put in a request. Sometimes even on the same day. Rent is comparable to the current market. In the 1 yr 1/2 of living here, there were issues with the office before, i.e. lack of communication with residents, high management turnovers, etc. However, ever since Leslie, the new property manager was hired, the complex has really changed. It wouldn't be fair to judge the complex based on previous reviews. Leslie runs it like a tight ship. Never misses a beat. Highly responsive. Communicative. Extremely organized and professional. I like how she sends texts just to keep residents in the loop! She's also warm and easy to talk to. Let me tell you, this is a big apartment complex. How she is able to handle things in a timely manner is astonishing. Another thing I like is their availability in the office. There is always someone present to help. The assistant manager who is the first you'll see when you walk in greets you with a smile. All in all, it seems things are turning around. It's refreshing. The outlook for The Meridian is promising."
"I wish I could give NO stars because this place is so awful. Paying $1,500-1,700 in rent is absurd when I signed my lease for $1,300 . You never know how much your rent is going to be living here every month is something different . Walls are so thin, you can hear your neighbors conversation next door. I work from home so this is an huge deal for confidentiality reasons.they’ll cut your water off without a warning. Do loud inspections or constructions without a warning . Everything is falling a part inside of the apartment. Doors are falling apart, drawers are barely open and shut . My bathroom floods almost EVERY week.. it’s literally SOMETHING with this place everyday. Hands down the worst place I’ve ever lived in. I wish I took these google reviews a lot more serious when looking for a place. Please avoid this place if you can. Thanks!"
