Marina Pointe Apartments 1 Carrington Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075

"I lived here in these apartments 2003 to 2008. They were well taken care of. Reasonable prices. Management was amazing. CLEAN! I was displaced after the tornadoes. I had to get a place to live. The new management does not care here at all. I was told my apartment would be clean upon move in. It was not. There is dog food along the walls in the bedrooms. The carpeting looks about 20 years. You can see the seems of the carpeting. They told me that the carpets were shampood. No they weren't. I have stepped on nails and screws embedded into the carpeting. I told Chris, manager it stinks, it's giving me headaches. Now I'm having nose bleeds. The floor's move. I've twisted my ankle four times. I fallen three. It all depends on where you step in the floors. The stairs are separated from the wall. You can stick your fingers between there. I went into the office 2 weeks ago to tell them. There was something wrong with the electrical plug in the kitchen. They needed to get somebody down here to look at it. They did not. I waited and waited by day 3. The power went out and I lost a hundred dollars worth of groceries in my deep freezer. I've got no apology at all from Chris for not listening. I've gotten no reimbursement on my damaged produce. But I already have extra charges on my bill. I only got to go into my storage unit 1 time. I locked it. It was filthy. I've already stated that I cannot get into my storage unit. I don't have a key. Nobody has come to take care of that either. Whoever painted slung paint all over the light fixture and flooring. One of my front door lights doesn't even work. It's shorted out. Some of the blinds are dirty. 1 of the cabinet shelves was broke. Maintenance guy fixed it but I had to paint it to clean it up. Look like there was food all slung on the back of it. I had to spend a hour cleaning the front windows by the front door because they were filthy. The refrigerator has rust spots all over it. Was not cleaned. Nobody cares. Who raises people like this. You take people's money under false pretenses. You charge fees for not working. These were beautiful apartments at one time. They're ruining them. I've only been here a month as of today. This is so so sad. You take advantage of people when they're down."

"The review from Lindsey is the most accurate review of this community. Marina Pointe has so much untapped potential. Maintenance and service are a huge issue, and to top it all off, we have backyards in the townhouses, but they made us give up our bbq grills. The bbq grill seizure was the fastest maintenance job in the history of maintenance jobs at Marina Pointe. Everything about the apartments is dated. They hire the cheapest laborers they can find. The maintenance men look like dudes who can’t tell a Phillips screwdriver from a flat. There is a manager revolving door - you never know who is quitting this week. They do not get it wrong when it comes to charging you or overcharging you, though. The company does not care about this property. You can live across the street at The Carrington for cheaper with similar conditions if you ask me. If you are reading this review from higher up and you care, do something about this community."

"I do not believe I’ve ever written a negative review in my life, and always want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but after almost a year, there is none left to give. Literally do not answer the phone, for weeks. Put in maintenance requests and hear nothing for months. Promises are made and not followed through on. Can not keep a manager or maintenance worker so leads me to believe it has to be corporate related. I work for a law firm and have previously worked for a property management company and have never seen anything like it. I should have known when we were moving in, my next door neighbor was moving out and said do not move here with your kids. She told me horror maintenance stories. Again, benefit of the doubt and all. When you pay nearly $1,800 for a 2 bedroom you should without hesitation be assisted with maintenance. They do not update anything. Townhouses and apartments like any home have to be updated over time, even when people live there, you don’t wait for them to move out, you want them to ideally continue to live there and be happy, right? Just a couple of pictures, but I have dozens. I am OCD when it comes to taking care of my home and take great pride in cleaning, decorating, take and having a nice place for my kids to live. This has been a disappointing experience to say the least. Ms. Anna in the office is nice and always listens, but it’s obvious to me her hands have been tied."

"Moved in on Dec 20 and was told only a few things needed to be fixed. I'm okay with a few things, but not the whole back sheet of the walk through list! Anna in the front office is sweet as pie. She is the only thing positive about our experience. Moving out in a few days, thank goodness! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Pretty bad when your neighbor hangs this above their door!!!"
