"Get ready for "lifestyle" living at 1070 main! You can look forward to prices increasing as fast as the place falls apart around you! No need to worry about clean living here, you're not allowed to smoke in the apartment you pay for, seems it disturbs the black mold growing up in a healthy environment. You're not likely to have a hard time finding parking, just make sure you have plenty of car care cash put away for damage that will be done to your vehicle due to vandalism, theft, and the poor conditions of the driving areas. You won't be bothered by those pesky handicap folks either, though there are signs for wheelchair parking there isn't actual access to the building in the way of a ramp in most instances. If you have a water allergy, you're in luck, your water won't work half the time your here! Any help you'll be told about from the office is purely lip service in regards to broken appliances, trash pickup, grounds keeping, security, THE OFFICE LOSING YOUR RENT PAYMENT, towing, or theft. If you long for that 3rd world feeling or simply miss the trashy experience of a trailer park, don't skip this opportunity to dread coming home!"
"Quite possibly one of the worst rental experiences of my life. Going on almost 2 years in this complex and I've seen the changeover of at least 3 management team members and multiple office staff. The maintenance team can be seen riding around on golf carts but I've never been able to get anything in my apartment fixed up to and including a door that won't close, mold in my hvac, a bad dishwasher that leaks, a twice-resurfaced bathtub that was never properly sealed and cannot be used to take baths in, peeling paint from every single cabinet in the kitchen and two bathrooms, and outdated plumbing that leaks and drips. Overall Issues: roaches, mold, faulty appliances, dog excrement everywhere, poor construction/maintenance, trash everywhere, bad tenants, faulty electrical, insane fees, and so much more. They do not fix anything...ever. I mean, EVER. They do not answer the phone and when they do, your issues are blown off and never addressed. They price gouge and make up arbitrary reasons for why nothing is ever done. They make huge accounting errors with alarming frequency and hold tenants responsible for their mistakes. They have a very lax screening and will rent to just about anyone for the sake of filling their units. Police units are seen constantly in multiples. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Do not rent from this property and steer clear of RPM management company in general."
"**11/16/23 UPDATE: My apartment has flooded a third time. Maintenance responded immediately, however, I am still so disappointed with office staff. Not once have they called, emailed, or came by to check on their residents. They keep entering my home without my knowledge. I really just feel like another issue to them, doesn't even feel like home... Unfortunately, this is by far the worst place I have ever lived. The property is now under new management, again, and trying to infiltrate unnecessary changes without fixing existing problems. The staff works at their own pace, which includes maintenance emergencies (my apartment has flooded twice since moving in December) and just the basics of having the unit ready when I signed the lease (no keys, no mail keys, leaking sink, faulty electrics). These guys should reconsider priorities, maybe consider reading the lease they are giving their residents. They pick and choose which of those clauses they want to follow. It changes with staff and property management and has allowed an excess of noise at inappropriate hours. You will see emergency vehicles on the premises nearly everyday. Bugs and trash are and have been a huge issue. The compactor is, more often than not, broken and with trash piling up to the sidewalk. This attracts a lot of flies, gnats, and roaches (don’t forget the spider/brown recluse infestation) to the area and units. This is not to mention the heaps and bags of trash, sheetrock, and food that are left lying around outside folks’ units. You could pay for trash pickup, but it’s a third party and those guys don’t always come (the fees now are kinda ridiculous considering the conditions). Mold problems from the moisture buildup, mainly affecting the wall with "outdated pipes". Staff said nothing could be done until actual spores were present. Maintenance or third-party contractors showed up without my knowledge, not sure what they did but in about three months the mold re-spored. Management will leave a message under this review asking me to contact them regarding my concerns, and I have several times before. I used to email, call, and go to the office to voice my concerns and ask for assistance. One staff member in particular would get an attitude, others claimed the “email is broken” and not receiving any of my [documented] issues, and thus leaving maintenance requests incomplete for months. I am not doing so anymore, and management should be ashamed at how they treat and communicate with residents. I thought I would at least wait until my lease is up to leave a review and maybe even change my opinion, but my time here has been such a loss and truly have never experienced this level of atrocity in a living situation. I cannot wait to be done here."
"I've lived here since 2005. I absolutely love our complex, my apartment, and the family of employees who provide amazing support day after day. Shelli, Mike, and Khadija are our office staff. They are so kind. They treat me as a friend, not just an apartment number. In the 18 years of calling 1070Main my home, I have had nothing but an exceptional housing experience. Over those years I've had many opportunities to lean on the office staff, the maintenance team, and the contractors, (for pest control and renovations). I cannot remember even one unfavorable experience. Marlin and Devin are the Maintenance Manager and team member I've worked with the most. They're both top-notch! They respond quickly and have resolved my needs to perfection. I've been very blessed with my neighbors. I've only had one neighbor in 18 years who was not respectful of the rest of us. The complex is beautiful, safe, and offers many amenities like fireplaces, vaulted ceilings, washers & dryers, assigned parking (if you choose it), lots of parking, pools (2), a pet park, a recreation area, and so much more!! If you're looking for a new home, come join our family!!"
"Save your money!!! This place is so trashy. They want $1,800 a month for the worst service ever!! Office people are only there for a paycheck. Every time I go in there is new people working there. There is so many empty apartments. The grass gets mowed maybe once every 5 weeks. I pay for valet trash service (mandatory) and my trash hardly ever gets picked up. It smells so bad from all the weed smokers. They say they do background checks but nobody wants to live here so they just allow anyone to move in. Maintenance is the biggest joke of all. I have been told the problems in my apartment aren’t bad enough to fix. WHAT?! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!"
