"Beautiful park, hiking/walking trails and bike trails! Wish this hidden gem wasn't getting so popular. Very nice places to fish, play and enjoy the day with your family or take a nice, quiet walk!"
"I absolutely love this place is so beautiful and peaceful and well kept. Great for walking with your family or fur family or riding your bike along the river. Also they have an area to load your canoe's or boats and a park for the littles."
"This is our second d favorite park to bring the kids to play and our #1 park for going on exercise walks. It marks the beginning of a greenway that snakes all the way through island home park, Ijams, to the end of the Wildlife Management Area. There are mile markers every quarter of a mile. The environment and view through the entire walk is incredibly beautiful. It runs along the river off and on through most of it. The playground equipment is fun and there are a couple of places for parents to sit in the shade. There's a tennis court and a wide open field for playing whatever."
"This is a great community park to play tennis, walk your dog, fish off the bank and have a picnic. They have some playground equipment there too."
"A great place for our grandkids to play. They have swings, jungle gym, coming wall, hanging bars, and a play house. The kids enjoy playing pirates and acting like they are floating down the river. Has great views of the Tennessee River with airplanes flying low overhead. Our grandson always stops to salute. Such a little patriot. We love this Park."
