Marriott Knoxville Downtown

"Amelia was great! Very helpful. Great location —clean and friendly staff. Definitely will stay again. Shuttle service was very helpful. The lounge was located on the main floor so it was convenient . Will start again—-valet was very helpful with my needs. Location was right near convention center."

"First stay since the Holiday Inn conversion. Great staff. Friendly housekeeping and parking. Embarrassingly I was caught not paying attention to the valet and took my room key and drove into the garage. The valet met me via the elevator in the garage and explained it is valet only....which was new to me as an old timer at the facility. If I would have known the 35 dollar a day plus tip valet charge when I booked I would have made another choice. Nothing wrong with the Hotel...its a fine Hotel. 35 a weekday night in Knoxville is a little steep in January when the other garages downtown open for free at night. Check Hilton or Crown Plaza for similar location and parking that wont leave you sore."

"The rooms were bare minimum. They were clean, but very old and unmaintained. Normal use of the hair products on the wall caused one of them to fall off. The toilet seat cover was not attached and it dropped on the floor the first time i tried to shut it. And there was no microwave in the room! What kind of motel or hotel doesn't have a microwave?!!! The M Club was very well taken care of though. It was always well stocked and clean. Nina was a great hostess and a wonderful person!"

"Loved our stay at the Marriott Downtown Knoxville with a large group for a youth sporting event! We normally stay at a different brand of hotel, but decided to stay at this Marriott because of the Club Level option. It was a hit for the whole group! It was wonderful to have a communal gathering space that was clean and welcoming. The early morning breakfast was delicious. The coffee/hot chocolate machine was fantastic. The courteous attendant, Nina, was so thoughtful and took fantastic care of the club room. We will be looking for this Club Level option at this Marriott the next time we are in Knoxville!"

"While checking in, to ensure the room is quiet I have requested the room to be away from elevator and avoid neighbors and turned out to be on the side of the high way and it was darn loud like you slept in F1 racing stadium. I called front desk, requested room change to the other side to avoid high way and they have accommodated right away. It is a lot quieter though the ac cannot be shut off. The room was clean and smells good. Bathroom is nice. I might still choose again just need to spell my requests clearly to ensure I get a working clean and absolutely no noise room"
