Gold's Gym

"Most machines are in good working order although there are several that have been out of service for several weeks now. Place is clean and hours are great. Today all four soap dispensers in the men's restroom were empty, although all the sinks were very clean. The last couple of months (November - December 2023), repairs have been made to several machines, facilities are in order and clean and staff presence for the facility to be open in the early morning, 4:30 a.m., has been far more consistent and reliable. March 2024 - things have been pretty good lately although there are a couple machines that are down. From Monday through Friday the staff being there in the early morning hours have been very reliable. Saturday still still seem to be a Hit or Miss thing. The facility is always clean, including the bathrooms and all the machines."

"Showers are filthy. Half the equipment is usually broken. They will not let you easily cancel. I was told I had to come in and "talk with a manager." When I was told I couldn't cancel over the phone because "they can't do cancelations over the phone," I asked for clarification. She stated I either had to come in or send an email to cancel. When asked why I can't just give my info over the phone and cancel, she stated that I have to sign something. I asked her how that works if I can use email, and she seemed confused on how to answer and stated that customer relations at that point just makes a judgement call. This is public notice to you that I have sent you an email asking for you to cancel my membership and that you no longer have authorization to charge my card."

"Maybe not the fanciest gym in the area, but has everything you need at an affordable cost, a great sauna, pool and hot tub… and a kind staff that is always there to help. And a lot of like minded people getting the job done!"

"Decent gym will take care of 90% of what your looking for. The inconsistency of the equipment is really irritating, using broke pegs for machines using wrong pegs for machines. most machines are broken they have enough of a selection that you can find what you need, but I’ve reported some things and it can be weeks before anything changes for it. If I’m paying money for a membership I would like to do the workout I want vs hunting for the machine that fits my needs. A lot of machines are either outdated or need new grips/padding. The pool is a great feature but I can’t be the only reason to come here. I’m hoping this is just a fluke will be checking other Golds locations out in the future."

"Great customer service, I was greeted and treated almost as if Mrs.Leia had known that I was coming. Explained the instructions great. Made it easy to find the app..Stocard. She Toured me around the gym. Introduced me to each room. Explained that they have classes. Overall I didn't have any complaints to be honest."
