"Unprepared, incredibly arrogant, with a God complex. I have 40 yr history of treatments/surgeries for spine disease, Ankylosis, Myelopathy, stenosis, fusions, nerve damage, body arthritis, chronic pain, PMR, etc. 6 mnths prior to my appointment I provided his office with all my previous 40 yrs of medical records. For first 15 minutes of office visit he asked me questions about all my past vaccinations & history. Finally, I suggested he look at my records, which he admitted he had not bothered to do. From this point on he was agitated and began talking down to me and preaching. Although he has never experienced chronic pain over a 40-year time span like I have, he proceeded to lecture me like a child about how older people get aches and pains and my silly aches and pains. No regard for my 40-year history. Then, after just meeting me for 15 minutes, and without reviewing any of my history, he declared that he knew more about my 40 yr anxiety issue, and the med I am on, than my current and previous Physiatrists. He stated that if I stopped drinking my 1 cup of coffee a day, that I would be cured. When I stated that I might be more familiar, he abruptly interrupted with a curt, NO! He made it clear there was no way anyone else could ever know anything more than him about anything. He then proceeded to explain to me what coffee was. And finally, he listed about 12 alternate meds I should be taking instead, all of which I have already tried… years ago. He displays ignorance and lack of understanding, along with a callous disregard for someone that has suffered with chronic pain for 40 years. Additionally, his superiority complex is revealed by talking down to patients that have vastly more real-world experience on the topic. My interaction with this doctor resembled that of a spoiled child. He was immature and unprofessional. He exhibits the traits of a privileged, silver spooned, frat boy mentality, exasperated by his self-righteous narcissism."

"Dr. Robert Dodson helped discover my tumor and acted swiftly and professionally with concern. The tumor was cancerous and had it not been taken care of so quickly it could have been a lot worse. He saved my life. He takes his time with his patients and cares. Highly recommend."
