"My brother went there on a Thursday night because his heart was beating irregular, besides that he was perfectly fine. They tested him and said he had Covid (yea ok) and had to stay in the hospital. SATUDAY NIGHT they finally gave him medication to take for his heart (why wasn’t that done Thursday night? The whole reason he went) Sunday morning it didn’t work. They gave him a different type in hopes that it would work Sunday. Realized MONDAY it didn’t work and they just discharged him!? Didn’t try any other medication no recommendations nothing. Went to this hospital with a problem and it hasn’t been resolved. Was a waste of time. 0/10 recommend. Doctors clearly don’t know why they are doing."
"The knowledge was very poor on behalf of the billing department they were extremely rude they interrupted me multiple times that is a big slap in my face and very disrespectful and rude I believe the St Francis Medical Center need to do a evaluation on the entire billing department their attitudes are very poor they are very disrespectful they think that they know what you're trying to say before you can even finish the sentence that you're making they need to learn what professionalism is and they need to understand it and they need to show that to the people that are on the other end of the phone or at the other side of the desk that they are speaking with they need to treat people with respect even if they are being disrespected they don't need to take it but they need to be reassuring and they need to be respectful about the way that they say things never once was I disrespectful to them but every time I have called they've been disrespectful to me and this needs to change until then I will be going to Mercy hospital because they have been much more polite to me over the phone I have been going to St Francis my entire life which is almost 30 years but I will never go back to St Francis again I have only respected Saint Francis so much because of how many family members have worked for St Francis the respect that I have for St Francis has diminished significantly until the higher-ups can learn to do an evaluation on their departments annually I will not go back to Saint Francis and I will definitely not recommend this hospital to anyone for any kind of reason if you like to be disrespected and interrupted then this is a perfect hospital for you but I'm a human being I like to be treated with respect I tried to be as nice as possible but I draw a line when I'm interrupted five times and one phone call because they think that they know what I'm about to ask for my second question"
"Went into the er because the infection from my teeth has spread into my sinuses and other parts of my body causing a dangerous condition. Dr Bean in er diagnosed my medical condition as a mental condition and was trying to give me meds for a mental condition saying it's a feeling sensation all in my head. All the while clear mucus is steadily flowing out my eyes, nose, and mouth. I'm chocking on the mucus because it's clogging my airway and they were saying that I was having an anxiety attack. All the while their also doing all kinds of tests as if I had a stroke but not communicating with me. I'm a combat veteran who fought for our country. It's detrimental to my mental stability to not be misdiagnosing my medical condition as a mental condition and trying to give me meds for a mental condition that I don't have and mix and mess with my PTSD that I have totally got under control so why misdiagnose my medical condition as a mental condition and take a chance of causing a dangerous effect for everyone around. Dr Bean isn't a psychiatric doctor and has no training or experience in the matter to begin with and in no way should he be practicing mental therapy or medication. The medical condition that I'm going through right now is getting to the point that it be detrimental to my life or having a healthy lifestyle so why not properly diagnose my medical condition. My guess would be that Dr Bean was trying to milk my medical insurance for all he could. I got angry and left on my own free will and ended up being hauled back up the next morning because I thought I was having a stroke and saw a different Dr and he properly diagnosed my medical condition to my bad teeth and steered me in the right direction. So they do have some great knowledgeable staff but Dr Bean in no way should be in the medical field let alone be able to get paid and bill me or my insurance for his major misdiagnosis."
"This place is amazing and they give and share so much hospitality unlike any place we have ever been. We don’t live in cape and we had drove here for my husband to have surgery and we didn’t have the funds to get a room. We slept in our truck the first day for preop because it was cheaper to stay rather than drive home and back to cape the following day for surgery. They called us to tell us they booked us a room at pear tree in free of charge to us so that we could get a good nights sleep before his surgery! It was the sweetest most thoughtful thing that anyone has done for us by strangers. We are so great full and we appreciate the hospital staff for their hospitality and treating us as if we were family. You guys rock and are truly a blessing in disguise! THANK YOU!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
"I wish i could give this place -1000. They made my husband wait in the waiting room for 5 hours puking blood. They kept telling me that he was not a priority. They were letting people go ahead of him that had an EAR ACHE!!!!!! They kept pushing him farther down the list. I get it some people there may have been more important but come up he was puking blood. Horrible place. They took him to do blood work, we ended up going to Southeast Hospital and they got us right in and admitted him right away. They sent us a bill for the blood work, why should we have to pay almost $300 for that when they did not even take care of him. I would advise to NOT go here if at all possible."
