"I wish I could give this place a better review, I really do. Everyone there seems nice and friendly. And there are many glowing reviews. Obviously those reviews are from people who have never had the need to reschedule an appointment due to an emergency. It's clear now that they care more about making money than about treating patients. Everyone should know before making an appointment here that if you have an emergency, they will charge you the full amount for your appointment before they will agree to reschedule you. No exceptions. I called the morning before my appointment, right after they opened, because I woke up feeling very sick, and they said I would have to pay $176 in full before they would consider putting me back on the schedule. I explained that I'm ill and I'm not trying to cancel, that I'm still having tooth pain and I still need to come in and be seen, I simply need to reschedule. But they said there are zero exceptions. When I asked why they have this policy, they said it was because they have a very long waiting list of people who could have taken that appointment and they needed to be paid for the time slot they couldn't fill. Well, if the waiting list really is that long, surely they could have called any number of people on that list to come in and fill my spot and they would have made their money? They treat the entire thing as a business transaction where the goal is to make a sale. Well, I am a person in need of dental care, and they have lost all my future "business" since this is how they view it. I will go somewhere they are interested in treating patients. And they should be VERY glad I did not come in because a few days after I called, I tested positive for COVID. I'm sure if I had told them that before calling it would have made no difference. It should also be noted that the only responses I received to my multiple calls were text messages. They relayed their policy to me over text in a way that made it difficult for me to ask clarifying questions, and I had to call their billing department to get anyone on the phone. And even then, there was zero understanding or care. Please be aware of all this if you are considering making an appointment with them."

"Had a filing repaired yesterday evening and couldn’t be any more pleased! We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, offered a chilled bottle of water and sat and admired the decor for Christmas and the wonderfully displayed art of Dr. Shipley as a Chef. I didn’t feel the needle so i was wondering if the numbing medicine was working and it was. Dr. Shipley explained every detail of what he was doing and in no time l was up and headed out the door! I am on oxygen and had to tote my little concentrator with me. They were so polite and friendly that I didn’t feel awkward having it as I do most places. If you need anything from a dentist you must try this one. They even have in house insurance you can purchase. Go people! You’re missing the most talented and friendly team if you don’t! I’d say it’s a spa day for your teeth."
