"Did you pay people to get the five stars I really don’t understand!! Horrible practice if you have a mental illness and want relief you are in the wrong place. The cost of one session is almost $400 billed half to my insurance I pay 30% for what 5 minutes they don’t even communicate they refill you medications and rush you to end the call just waste of time and money. The front desk is always different when you get somebody to talk to generally you have the voicemail where to begin where to end just please don’t waste your time and look for another office. BELIEVE ME this practice is odd ."

"Brighter life has been amazing. They really care about their patients the only reason i can say this because every time i have reached out to them they are patience with me and answered my needs right away. Prior to brighter life my previous psychiatrist they were horrible would not even return my messages or calls even though i have tried multiple attempts. I have seen many psychiatrists in the past so far brigher life has been the best. I have been with brighter life over 8 months now and i have not had any issues with them."

"Absolutely avoid this practice at all costs. I was a patient for 2+ years, but cannot be any longer. The doctors show up at least 15min late to all appointments, with no prior notice or explanation. My doctor left the practice & they notified me by having someone different show up to my scheduled appointment. When I inquired, they said I must have missed the email (I didn’t). They rush you through your appointment, and any questions you ask are met with frustration. Their billing is in absolute shambles. While I was a patient, they have a) coded incorrectly when submitting to insurance and attempted to have me pay the difference b) billed me for appointments 6-12 months in the past (I linked a card for autopay and they failed to charge it) c) sent multiple invoices for the same day, after I repeatedly told them of the error. You have to rely on them to send you an invoice, there’s no portal to log in to. Within the past 8 months, they’ve switched to having you pay before the appointment, which is less of a headache—just don’t expect them to be responsive about anything other than money. They have demonstrated a history of failure to notify, and then blame you when it’s clearly an issue on their end. The ethical issues within this practice are still massively concerning & not worth your time. On top of everything, they’re unwilling to correct their errors & attempt to blame you or your insurance. Dealing with their billing is a full time job, do yourself a favor and avoid this practice. Reply to owner: healthcare is confusing and stressful when your practice repeatedly submits incorrect billing codes to my insurance. The misunderstanding is fully on your end. I also did sign the approval paperwork in advance of the appointment. Finally, 15min late was the minimum, and it was every single appointment, without fail. If it’s not by the choice of the provider, it’s even less my choice. If you spend less time replying to truthful Google reviews and more time fixing your scheduling and billing issues, this wouldn’t be a problem for your patients."
