"Absolutely the worst insurance company to ever deal with! I Was rear ended by one of their insured drivers . They decide to give me a claim adjuster the is on vacation for a week. They will not return your phone calls give you every excuse in the world and then try to worm their way out of a situation where their driver clearly was at fault! In the meantime we're left with a total vehicle no way to get to work in 5 kids with no way to get Them to the places they need like the doctor! Needless to say I hope they enjoy talking to my attorney"
"Horrible. As part of my work I deal with numerous insurance companies on a daily basis, American Service Insurance is definitely high among the WORST in service. In order to get a status update on a claim, I recently had to spend almost 2 months calling weekly and leaving voice messages just to finally have the rudest representative (a supervisor no less) call back to pretty much complain about my calls. If I had to choose coverage from an insurance company I would never choose this one."
"On New Year's Eve morning, my car was hit (as it was parked outside my house) by a taxi cab insured by these folks who apparently didn't know how to drive a car. Not only did the claim take THREE WEEKS to be accepted on their behalf, it then took them another TWO WEEKS to get the adjuster out who clearly didn't know what on earth he was doing. When it finally got towed away to be repaired, the company took another two weeks after that to accept the body shop's damage repair. As soon as they got the quote from the body shop, it then took them THREE WEEKS to respond to ANY of my emails, phone messages, anything. As soon as they deemed it totaled, they were sure to tell me to hurry up and get everything finished on my end and that my rental that I couldn't get until FOUR WEEKS after the accident occurred (which in turn forced me to miss work, meetings, and sales trips), would be cut off before I even receive my reimbursement check. Absolutely unbelievable. Throughout the whole process, I was told to gather my tax information, and salary information in order to receive my missed wage check from the time I missed in the office and through my job. I sent everything AND MORE to them only to have their representative tell me that they're not responsible for any missed work. Not acceptable in my book. I asked for the supervisor's name, leave him a voicemail, no call back. Hands down the WORST customer service and least professional organization I have EVER worked with. You all should be ashamed of yourself. How dare you string these people who clearly were NOT at fault in their instances along like hopeless puppies. This has been the worst experience going through ANY incident whether I was at fault or not, that I have ever dealt with. Work missed, meetings missed, being promised something under COMPLETELY false pretenses, lack of empathy, lack of respect, the list could go on and on....."
"I have never had to deal with an ins co that gives such bad service. My son got rear-ended on the 17th of Jan and we still have our car in the shop waiting for the ins co to give permission to start repair work. They will not give a rental car or return phone calls. Eva Soto is the claims adjuster and she only has a message on her phone that she will return the call, this time it has been 48 hours and we still have not heard from her. They don't even get 1 star from me."
