"The experience I have had with them has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating, prompting me to switch insurance companies. On the first week of April, 2023, I informed State Farm that I had sold my 2006 Corolla and requested a revision of my insurance quote and policy. The agent assured me that my new monthly payment would be around $140-150, as opposed to my previous monthly payment of $186 for two cars (a 2019 Mustang Ecoboost and a 2006 Corolla) with a 20% multiple cars discount. Six months total for the Mustang with the 20% multiple car discount was $704.88, delete the 20% discount since I don't have two cars now; $845.85. Divided by 6 for monthly payment equals $140.9 monthly. To my surprise, my bill for the first month after the revision came to approximately $86, which was significantly lower than the expected amount. However, the subsequent bills showed erratic and inconsistent charges. The second month's bill skyrocketed to about $210, and now I am being charged a staggering $273, well above what was initially quoted to me. My attempts to contact my agent have been in vain. Despite leaving voicemails, I never received a callback. When I finally managed to speak with a representative, her lack of competence and unhelpful attitude only exacerbated the situation. She failed to comprehend the errors in billing and instead touched my nerve with her dismissive behavior. Feeling frustrated and disregarded as a customer, I made the decision to switch insurance companies. When I conveyed this to the representative, her response was nothing more than an indifferent "OK." It is evident that she does not possess the necessary skills or knowledge in customer support, as her actions directly led to my departure from State Farm."
