"The staff: Almost every Pangea/CYM Living staff member that you will encounter is ignorant and unprofessional. Calling customer service or emailing will get you nowhere. They will leave you on hold for 30+ minutes, transfer you multiple times and never resolve your issues. I was told a manager would call me back but I have yet to hear back from anybody including 'Desiree"; Shaquillia Phillips (underwriting specialist) assured me Desiree would contact be but I never heard from her. Emails to Pangea are never answered. I was given the wrong move-in quote and had to return to my bank to request a new check, so I spent $20 for both checks. Tyesha (the 'Wednesday floater' at the leasing office) is incredibly unprofessional and hostile! I was told I would receive my keys on 7/19/2023 but was not able to move in until 7/21/2023; Tyesha was more than happy to watch me stand outside with my luggage and no place to go. I had the rent a hotel and the total cost of my stay was over $300 when I should have been in my apartment. Washington Plaza Apartments: The website for Washington Plaza Apartments states the building offers a gym but it is not even open for use. Internet is to be provided but Aerriel Weddington-Hawkins, the manager, immediately told me I would need to get up my own internet as the service at the building is no good. I had to supply my own internet as I work on-line; this was not what I was expecting as it is supposed to be included. The floors in the lobby and on the sixth floor are disgusting. There is urine, feces and, sometimes, blood in the elevators along with a stench. The laundry room smells like vomit. My apartment was filthy when I moved in; the floors were dirty, the toilet was never cleaned. The tub was clogged; I submitted a work order on 7/21/2023 but the problem remained until 7/25/2023. The light in the refrigerator was out; the oven wasn’t closing properly; I have 1 window screen that is ripped and the other is missing and there is, what appears to be, tobacco scattered in my freezer. My walk to the laundry room felt like I was walking thru a haunted house; there is no way I'm doing laundry at night in this place. The entire place is ugly, dirty and filled with dead roaches and flies that are flying about the entire building. Some of the unit doorways have been boarded shut. I know the place is old but it can, at least, be clean and made functional. On 7/24/2023, the ceiling on the first floor was leaking. On the night of 7/26/2023, my smoke alarm was going off for over 20 minutes and I had to call the fire department to come out. They concluded it was a faulty smoke detector and removed it from the ceiling. Website: Is incredibly deceptive and the pictures of the building (inside and out) are very old because the building looks much worse. No high-speed internet, no gym, no community room, no courtyard and no pleasant atmosphere as mentioned on the website. This place doesn’t even have AC; I had to supply my own. Almost every Uber/Lyft driver that I have spoken to has urged me to leave the apartments because they are considered unsafe. I would like to add that I have, also, been in contact with Andre Knox from Pangea (senior zone leader) and he, like everyone else I have dealt with at Pangea/CYM Living, he is incredibly worthless."

"I always appreciate Calvin's quick response because they have a lot their plate with maintenance. He came up and replaced my burned-out bulb, and even gave me a spare bulb. He's made a few repairs recently that have been helpful in improving my quality of life here."

"My experience at Washington Apartments has been Good but if I would say one thing that would make it better is the cleanliness of other tenants leaving trash on the stairs & the elevator broke down occasionally."
