"This is specifically in regards to the "VSO" they have employed there. We had to wake him up from his nap at his desk to even speak with him. He didn't seem interested in helping my husband with anything. Not sure why he's even working there. What a joke."
"New encounter.. Team Valor after 7 phone calls and two hrs attempting to get Dental care..My primary calls me informs me that Primary can not make referrals so I need to call Poplar granted I'm frustrated, the receptionist or LPN or who ever she was ends the call by stating do you want the numbers or what? It's not an unexpected response.. I take the number call it it rings and rings no answer. I live 3.5 hrs one way from Poplar Bluff the fact thats where I am assigned highlights how This is at 330. I look up PB Va and dentistry is not even listed. I'm not being grandiose when I say my dog gets so much better care at his veterinarian. I am RN have been for 25 I use to think I would enjoy working at the VA. I actually care about people so it would not be a match. Their moto should be over staffed over funded but patients please waste your day and make 8 phone and still accomplish no resolution,...... I have waited years to see a provider. I can not sleep. 3 years ago I had had a psych NP she quit so I have never been assigned a new one. So I just fell through the cracks. So Back in July my primary states you need to see psych. Before you can see them them you are required to see intake therapist. Months Later I see the intake therapist .Yeah you need to see psych." (Me) Yeah that's what they say". First available is months away.. "is that ok"? ( Me) do I have have a choice? No., So I make the appointment. Leading up to the appointment, They call me 50 times to confirm appointment. The day of the appointment they call me again.Unfortunately she is sick today so we need to move your appointment. Not like I had to take the day off from work today for this appointment. The next available is a month and half away. Is that ok? Do I have choice? No ..So if these people ever help a single person they fail 12 others. Whoever is running this facility is failing and needs to resign so they can get someone else who can do the job. If I call anyone it will be a Congressman. My general medical team is fine .. Anything else they suck at."
"Great staff. Only issue I have is that we get forwarded to Poplar Bluff."
"I've been with VA Clinics in several places for many years. I've seen "Soso" doctors as well as good ones. I was without an assigned doctor for several months and then got Dr Kenneth Phillips. I was so enlightened with the way he listened and then acted on my health problems and reviewed my meds. Thank you VA. I'm proud of you!"
"Great place. I wish all the VA clinics were as good as this one. Very nice and professional people working here. The building is very well kept and clean inside and out."
