"A bit confused, actually more than a bit. On August 4th my husband and I were both seen by the same doctor. She had my husband get an x-ray of his knee, and said he could go back to work on light duty, so he did, that first day back his job sent him home because they couldn't accommodate light duty. She then said he would be out until further notice and told us we had to wait 10 days for an MRI to be approved. So we did. His work wanted him back and they faxed MedStop One papers to release him. He went today, saw a different woman and she said insurance won't do an MRI without him doing physical therapy first, and released him to go back tomorrow when there is still obvious swelling and is painful to walk on, so he can't do physical therapy for a knee problem and go back more than full time as a corrections Officer- it will cause further injury and none of this makes sense. Either the doctor he saw today COMPLETELY failed him, or they allowed his employers request of him returning to overrule his health. The fax form they sent had 2 options. Release him to work without restrictions or have him resign from his job. The doctor he saw today actually had the audacity to suggest he find a new job, one that is a sit down setting. IS THAT WHAT COUNTS AS PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL CARE HERE? That was wrong on their behalf and it will be investigated and it was wrong on Med Stop One for not putting his care in concern at all. Plus I spoke with insurance about the MRI and if his job doesn't accommodate his needs and MRI can definitely be approved. When they saw me that first day we went, they had me pay the copay, didn't even look at or look into what I was there for and did absolutely nothing. Luckily my primary care doctor did and my right arm is now in a sling. This "clinic" has failed myself and my husband, I demand answers and someone will be held accountable."
