"I was actually surprised when I came to leave a review and saw all the negatives. I can’t speak to that, but our experience here was totally great! I had 2 rooms for my daughters and some friends after their dance. We checked in at 8:30 and they were so sad to hear the pool closed at 9, however, when the front desk manager noticed he kept the pool open for them so they could swim for an hour! He helped me carry my pizzas up too. Super helpful! The rooms were spacious and clean and the kids were happy with breakfast the next morning. Eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, fruit, muffins ect."

"Room was clean and spacious. Bathrooms need to be updated. Stay was okay but could have been better for the price. Waiting on the elevator was annoying at times. But I would stay again, just not in the type of room I had originally."

"Stayed at this Hyatt Place location on NYE, my room consisted of double beds. Both beds had dirty linens, pieces of small trash in front of the beds and hair was found on the floor in the bathroom. I think I can speak for all paying customers when I say we EXPECT clean linens. I usually have pleasant stays at Hyatt Place, but I personally will not book a room here again."

"Do NOT stay here!!! THEY WILL GIVE YOUR ROOM TYPE AWAY EVEN IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION!! Staff is RUDE!! I reserved 2 Double bed rooms for 2 nights for our annual Christmas shopping trip in Oakbrook/Lombard. When we got there around 7pm, to check in, they informed us that they had our reservation for 2 doubles, but they didn’t have any of those kind of rooms left. They had given away our 2 rooms and they would have to put us in an accessible king bed room. We explained to them that it wouldn’t work because we needed the 2 beds and sofa bed..that is why we reserved that kind of room months ago!!!! The 2 employees at check in were so rude to us..then the woman went to get the manager, who was equally as rude. He said he could only give us king rooms because the doubles were gone, but he was giving us Bigger size room because it was accessible, but still only a King bed with sofa. The room size didn’t matter to us, we needed the extra bed!!! I suggested that we take the 2 king rooms and they comp us a third king room and then it would work. He absolutely would not do that! The employees were so rude to us! We have stayed here so many times, but will never stay here again!!!! So, we were left trying to find 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights! It was awful!! How do they give our rooms away that we reserved? Hyatt should be ashamed of themselves!!! I will tell people to skip this hotel!!! Just bad business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Horrible place. Poor management. Please notice what appears to be numerous fake 5 star reviews done by people whom have only done 1-4 reviews at all….. Weed smoking at entrances, kids partying, noisy, kids left alone in the hallway, and hotel staff does nothing to address it. No quiet hours. Rooms are heavily worn. Window heat/a/c units that are disgusting. Stinky/musty room smell. Check for bugs! If you are a business traveler, avoid this place at all cost. There are plenty of other hotels in the area."
