Upon entering the first room assigned to me, an unpleasant odor filled the air, and glaring stains were clearly visible on the bed's comforter. Regrettably, the second room I was offered smelled even worse than the initial one. Consequently, I promptly returned to the front desk and decided to cancel my reservation. It was evident that staying in this hotel would not provide a comfortable and safe environment. I had initially booked my reservation for over a week, but I could not bear to endure such conditions. The state of this hotel was appalling. The parking lot was littered with debris, and the luggage carts were in a sorry state. Moreover, the hotel's color scheme was gloomy and disheartening. Inside the room, the furnishings seemed antiquated, unclean, and well past their prime. Apart from the obvious stains on the comforter, I also noticed dust and dirt in various corners of the room. The lack of cleanliness raised concerns about the hotel's overall hygiene standards. The hotel's online images and description were misleading. They presented a much more appealing picture than the reality I experienced during my stay. The front desk associate was genuinely helpful and made sincere efforts to assist with the situation at hand. Overall, my experience at this hotel fell far below the standards I expected from a reputable brand like Marriott."

"Great location. I can see how people stay here long-term. It's built for that more than the expectations of short-term travelers. The service was consistent with a more hands-off and independent approach to living. However, an amazing maintenance man assisted me on my first night. He was very kind and personable. Gary, I think, was his name? Sorry if I got it wrong. I met a lot of great people that weekend."
