"There are plenty of options for a Bed and Breakfast in Galena, and I can’t imagine a better experience anywhere than we had. Bob and Cherish were the most welcoming of hosts and have a beautiful home in a great location. Our room and bed were clean and comfortable, Bob’s breakfast was delicious, and Cherish’s sweet touch of a candy bar provided a treat when leaving and returning. Not only would I stay at Avery on Prospect Hill again, I will recommend it to my family and friends. A truly first-class experience with wonderful hosts in a beautiful home."

"What a wonderful find! We wanted to get away for a quiet weekend in Galena and happened upon the Avery wile doing a little research on the area. This was our fist trip to Galena and Bob and Cherish made it even better. The rooms are quaint, with classic charm, extremely comfortable bedding and only a 5-7 minute stroll to Main St. Do ask for recommendations, as they know the restaurants well. Also, Bob loves to cook, as you will quickly learn when you smell the Breakfast at 9AM sharp and the fresh cookies daily at 3:30! Bob is also very accommodating with any special requests or food allergies. They also have a stocked Candy Bar, for those late night cravings! Again, wonderful find and stay. I highly recommend!"

"Avery b&b was an absolute delight. Very comfortable bed, cute, old-fashioned and quiet which was the perfect relaxing getaway. Bob and Cherish were amazing hosts and breakfast was great! It is also a 5 minute walk to downtown Galena which was spectacular. Would definitely recommend!"

"Todd and Candy are the most welcoming hosts in the world. They made us feel like family during our stay. We loved the accommodations. The room was perfect for our needs and the sitting room upstairs was nice. Homemade breakfast each morning from Candy was wonderful. She is a fantastic cook. The location is fantastic. Downtown Galena is only a short walk away. If you are going to Galena, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!"

"I have nothing but great things to say about Todd, Candy, and the wonderful B&B they own in Galena. The Avery House was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Todd and Candy went above and beyond to make my fiance and I feel like family. This was our first B&B experience and it's going to be one that is very hard to beat. Candy's cooking was top notch. Having our delicious breakfast outside on the back porch with the great scenery was one of our favorite moments during our time there.
