"Terrible place to live if you are expecting a young, active 55+ community. First, let me start by saying I don't have anything against old people, as I am pretty much there myself at nearly 63 years old. What gripes me, is that Overture touts itself as this hip, youngish 55+ community. This situation is not even close to accurate. Additionally, the pool and the spa are disgusting and don't look anything like the photos on their web site. The temperature of the spa is dangerously too high, around 118 degrees. You can't even go into the spa without it burning you. The office staff (with the exception of Michael) are incompetent, lazy, and who excel in making what should be a normal conversation into a stressful situation, or worse. Make sure to take a serious tour of the pool area to see what it look's like, don't let the office staff stop the tour at the doorway, tricking you into thinking all is well. I can't stress enough that this is not a place where you would want to live. I broke my lease just so I could get out of here!"

"Concept of active senior apartments is great, but the actual execution needs a lot of improvement. The company advertises worry free living, but very cheap appliances for example are constantly having problems. A number of people here are not active seniors and should be at a facility with more services. There is no building security, and exterior doors and gates are frequently broken. The social aspects are a wonderful aspect though."

"Came to overture sugar land to find a forever home for my grandparents. I think we found it - the amazing building and their activities director Michael really sold me. There are so many things to do and I was greeted by the entire team. I toured many other communities in the greater Houston area, but I think overture sugar land is the best by far."

Recently enhanced community programs made this place more attractive for living. Local staff members, Becky, Davies, Lori, Michael and Maria put their best effort to make all residents happy."

"Nice, quite apartment complex, friendly staffs and residents. If you come home late, you still have plenty spots to park. Price wise, it's kinda expensive to live here if you only looking at how much you pay, but when you look at what you get, it comes with a lot activities, amenities/social areas. My mother is 61 years old and she is qualified to have a resident who is below 55 but over 35 years old, it is very thoughtful!"
