Las Brisas Apartments

"I am been charged 464 dollars because they had to clean the stove, the kitchen the restroom. Which I left the apt. clean. I do admit the blinds and one of the door were damaged. That's why I was not given the deposit back. A deposit of 295 dollars. How much can a cheap door and cheap blinds coast. Because the material they buy are the most expensive. I left the apt clean. Why am i supposed to pay for the extra things they wanted to do to have the apt ready for the next tendant. Another thing the company is willing to spend a whole on another company to "clean" the apt but yet not to put new door frames or door knobs that won't come off so easily. There was a very bad leak that everytime it rain the walls would get stained in the process ruined some frames I had in the wall. The children's closet it ruined school uniform shirts, dressy shirts and jerseys. The do not fix things they patch. Did they pay me back that damaged? No. Patching is not fixing. Unfortunately sometimes I would pay late. Obviously I would get charged late fee. The point is that the rent is not cheap on top of that I pay the late fee. There for they should have enough money to FIX things and not pach things. From all the few tendents that would pay the late fee on top of the rent, c'mon. I am sure they had money to FIX whatever was damaged. The doors from the apt were lose. At one point we didn't have a door for the restroom. My boyfriend had to put super glue in the holes where the nails belonged and then he screw the nails in. That was the only way the door stopped coming off. On top of that the washer machines and dryer sometimes did not work. They do not give your money back or try to get them FIX. I do not recommend this apts. They are very inconvenient and such a bad experience. They expect after all the bad experience, inconvenient and ruined my belongings for me to pay 400 and some dollars. The deposit should have covered for one door and blinds. I was told I was going to pay an amount of rent after 3 months of moving in they over charged me because they told me starting Jan 2022 they were charging the water separate but yet my rent it self stayed the same. The water is not paid to the water company but the the apt complex. They told me this on March of 2022, so they went back to charge me from January 2022 to March 2022 the water fee that they were saying it was separate now. Now as in March 2022. I told them ok so if when I moved in the water is included then where is the money I already payed for the water. They gave bs answer. It made no senses for them to charge me for the water again and for my rent not to go down if the water will be charged separately. I didn't say anything because I needed somewhere to live. This charge of 400 plus is the drop that over floaded the cup."

"Awful, cheap, and overpriced apartments. If you're apartment hunting seriously consider NOT renting here.They will charge you an endless amount of random fees and what they offer is a joke. Washer and dryer where 90% of the time they eat your coins and don't work at all. Maintenance is an even bigger joke, had a leak last year and called it in, they ended up just patching it with some cheap paint and the leak came back and stained some of the clothes in the closet. It smelled awful and it happened in multiple rooms. Overall if I could give zero stars I would. Horrible apartments, awful utilities, cheap and overpriced. Do not recommend."

"Las brisas is in an excellent location, the apartments are very clean and are equipped in case you want to cook, the difference between the apartments is that some have a terrace and you can hang clothes and the studios do not have it, public transportation is on the corner, and the super quiet sector at all times, very good price/quality. We were attended to by the administrator. Jesús Elizondo, incredible person very attentive and friendly."
