"I tried to cancel order for the items which were delayed indefinitely. After calling multiple times too customer support failed to cancel my order. Then suddenly after one and half month item was delivered at my door. Now I don’t want this item but I can not return it in store as well as online. Again the customer support is helpless and hopeless. I will never order anything from west elm. Beware of their fine print and if there is a slight chance of returning item don’t take that chance. West Elm customer support is poor and irresponsible."

"NOT FRIENDLY. After making a large purchase, we came back the next week to make another and asked for assistance from the two reps, who were standing by the front doors and were just speaking with each other. We were told to look for ourselves in the back of the store. One of the reps was who we did the purchase with the weekend prior. While we tried to look for ourselves, the staff just stayed by the front doors talking and not doing anything. We chose to leave, and we obviously won't be back. It's really weird there."

"This store is terrible. The staff are not only unfriendly as they stand around ignoring you, they are downright combative when you do ask them a question. They have no idea what is in their inventory and ask you to pay ridiculous amounts for shipping their product. There are several chips in the piece we purchased even though every part was wrapped in styrofoam. If you're paying a premium price you want to receive a premium product, both in terms of service and quality but this store fails to deliver on either. At least I was about to get the product I wanted in the first place, many reviews mention that it is near impossible to get them to deliver things properly. I will never shop here again and strongly urge you against it as well."
