Home2 Suites by Hilton San Antonio Airport

"I hate this place. Choose this hotel if you want to ruin your travel experience. People should not be paying to stay at hotels like this. They do not follow Hilton's digital key policies that allow guests to check-in and receive a digital key for the room. They still require you to stand in line and check-in at the front desk. Hilton is doing an investigation. Rooms are worn and dingy feeling as compared to other hotels and other Home2 Suites. Breakfast did not have the standard Home2 options. They ran out of milk. I know this because the man working at breakfast repeated yelled at me to get my attention to tell me he found some milk even though I didn't ask and wasn't looking for it. Eggs were all cold. Did not have a non-dairy milk available for dietary needs. Unacceptable. They say they serve breakfast until 10 on the weekends but they really start cleaning it up and stop stocking it at 9:30 or whenever they feel like it. The gym was still as filthy and unattended today as it was last night. It smells absolutely disgusting like wet dog and mold. The elliptical needs serviced or replaced, it does not operate smoothly. My room only had one fork in the kitchen. There was no dish soap to wash the one fork. There was no soap for the dishwasher if I wanted to run it for one fork. Called the front desk, no answer. This is the most basic part of a checklist before confirming a room is ready for a new guest. All of the amenities should be stocked in the room in excellent condition for the next guest or the room should never be checked-in. All of the luggage carts had shredded, flat tires. They did not work and had to be dragged around. I mentioned this to multiple employees. Over the course of 5 days, nothing was done to correct it or offer any solutions for guests. The television service and remote are subpar, cheap options. Unfortunately, staying several days here. We're looking into other options. This place obviously doesn't care about service or standards. -Hilton Diamond member"

"This is a good place for staying if you need to take a flight from the San Antonio airport. Jose took us on the shuttle to the airport: he was so friendly, helped with our luggage, and also gave us recommendations for future visits to San Antonio."

"I spend from 6 to 15 day per month with Hilton hotels. This was my first and last time staying at this location. No good customer service in the front desk . Last night I ask for the complementary water and the men in the reception made faces to me and pointed to the water and said get one. All other location tell us welcome to the ___ hotel . Thank you for been a Diamond member will you like a complementary waters. Breakfast area no plates no fruit or to go breakfast bags. Room with no lotion and no conditioner. Ask to refresh the room fail and nothing done. Next week will go back to the Hampton or Embassy. How they muy comment in consideration. Hotel is not new but in good condition all its need is good customer service employees."

"I had to change rooms twice due to bad dog odors in the room and one room smelled of smoke, furniture excessive stains and dirty, chair torned and linen stained. These rooms should be cleaner, hotel as a whole has a very bad odor, front desk older woman never says hello just unfriendly and the place needs a full cleaning job to make it fresh and clean as soon as a customer walks in. Floors need sweeping throughout. the elevator needs cleaning. Costs too much for dog odors in the room. I will never come to these hotels again."

"Hotel was centrally located for us. We were there for my husband's son's football game early Saturday morning. The room was spacious. We were in room 431, very nice room. The shower was big enough for both of us to shower together. The lady who checked us in, maybe she was having a bad day when we checked in, the next morning, she was a little more friendlier. Maybe because she was about to go home too :) The coffee in the morning was fresh (would have been great if there were flavored creamers instead) and the omelet thing in the morning was actually pretty tasty. I was pleasantly surprised. We are definitely going to stay here again. We do travel to San Antonio quite often."
