"Reading the reviews, I assume the old lady that managed the property back in the late 90s died someone else took over. From day 1, for reasons still unknown 20 years later, she was a rude person with zero professionalism, not to mention she allowed drug dealers to rent in the complex. This old lady was something else. Years later when I moved back to Richmond, she had put in a bad review in my name on the local rent circuit or whatever. I couldn’t believe it. Hopefully she’s somewhere suffering in a dirty nursing home or just 6 feet under, so the world has a little more joy thanks to her departure BTW, the apartment walls are paper thin, you can hear road noise from the railroad, bypass and your neighbors all in one night. The ONLY reason ppl like this place is because it’s cheap."

"I am so glad I choose Katelyn Court Apartments. I had the sweetest one bedroom apt. With a big window. The neighbors were very nice, never had anyone to bother me and it was really a nice place to rent. The apt was clean when I went in and of course clean when I left. When I went to the office to pay rent or had a question the Staff were friendly and nice and ready to assist me. When I called the office with a problem the maintenance was there the next day. I highly recommend Katelyn Court Apartments."

"We have lived at Katelyn Court Apartments for almost 5 years. Truly a wonderful community. In the entire time we have lived here we have had extremely minimal problems that were solved within hours. Online rent payment is very convenient and the management/owners are phenomenal. The neighbors are generally quiet and the grounds are well kept. The apartments are located right in town with close proximity to EKU. We would highly recommend Katelyn Court Apartments if you are looking to start out at an affordable rate."

"I lived here for two years during college and this was my first apartment. The management is so great and very concerned about their residents. The maintenance crew is always helpful and friendly and willing to fix any problem you have and fast! My air conditioner went out during the night and I called management and the maintenance man was at my door the very next morning with a new unit! Katelyn Court is amazing and helpful and is extremely safe. I never once felt unsafe living there! All of the other tenants are great and friendly as well! I highly recommend living there especially if you’re a student living off campus for the first time!"

"I've lived in several places in Richmond since I was a student in 2001, and Katelyn Court has been the best combination of location, quality, and price. Manager has always been quick to fix issues in the apartment, and the staff has always been very nice. Also the only apartment I've stayed at where I actually got my deposit back. I moved about four times after leaving Katelyn Court the first time, and ended up moving to another property managed by the same company because of not-so-great experiences at the other apartments. I stayed at that property until it was sold to a different company, didn't care for the new owners, and moved back to Katelyn Court. Never had issues with neighbors, and my only complaints are I wish they still allowed pets and that the kitchen area was a bit bigger. Very close to campus, Walmart, Kroger, lots of restaurants, hospital; right next to car wash and storage facilities."
