"I am writing to formally address a concerning incident that transpired at your establishment, Quality Inn, on February 16, 2023. Regrettably, I must express my profound disappointment and distress regarding the treatment of my husband, Mr. Gallardo, during our check-in process. Despite our provision of ADA-approved documentation, Mr. Patel and the front desk staff refused to acknowledge the distinction between a service dog and an emotional support animal, insisting on an additional fee. This discriminatory behavior not only resulted in my husband suffering abuse at the hands of Mr. Patel but also inflicted considerable distress upon him, demonstrating a concerning lack of understanding and empathy."
