"I lived here for a year and a half and have nothing but good to say about my time there. We had one issue with our AC unit while there but it was quickly resolved. As someone else mentioned, the neighbors mainly keep to themselves but the times I did talk to them they were all very friendly. Family owned and operated landlords are often better than corporate owners and this place is a perfect example of why. You see the same people each month when you pay rent, problems are dealt with quickly and don’t get lost in the shuffle, and the Morrows seem like good people who want to take care of their tenants. Brooke even left us a gift over the holidays. I no longer live in Richmond but if I did I’d still be at the Shade Tree Apartments."

"I lived in these apartments for a little over a year and never had any issues. The neighbors were either friendly or kept to themselves, and I never had issues with noisy neighbors. When the window unit went out sometime during the winter, it was replaced very quickly and at no hassle to me. The landlords were never unkind or unfair to me."

"Good affordable place to live. Neighbors are friendly and it is close to EKU. Never had any issues besides the oven heating element burning out. The landlord was quick to come fix whatever was broken."

"Evicted for a noise complaint because a nosey neighbor in D3 constantly complaining weird neighbor constantly kept door open to his unit no matter what time of year it was lived here almost 3 years hot water heater bottom rusted out of it damaged bunch of my belongings they replaced it didn’t even ask if my things were damaged 3 months after moving here landlord Mark has a horrible attitude thinks he’s god gift to earth evicted me for noise complaint wouldn’t return any of the deposit just because of two complaints from same neighbor and left me with no where to go over priced studios basically I wouldn’t advise renting from him unless you had absolutely no other options"

"I've been living in these apartments for just over a year now. The management are good people just a little slow and forgetful when it comes to fixing things. The neighbors like most other places are a mix. Most keep to themselves and don't cause much fuss But have a drunk neighbor who comes knocking for cigarettes and wants to talk to much about everything.. Overall rent is cheap, I've had a pretty decent experience and don't think it's to bad of a place."
