"I recently moved into the Baxter and I have to say, I am extremely impressed. The property management team has been wonderful to work with - they are always responsive, friendly, and eager to help with any concerns or questions. I've also had the pleasure of interacting with the maintenance crew, and they are just as kind and helpful. The apartment itself feels brand new and sparkling clean, and I love having all the amenities right on site. From the fitness center to the pool, I have everything I need right at my fingertips. Not to mention, the location is ideal. The Baxter is situated between several vibrant neighborhoods in Louisville, making it easy to explore and try new things. And for the days when I want some peace and quiet, there are beautiful parks and neighborhoods just a short distance away. Overall, my experience at the Baxter has been fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for their next home."
"I've lived at The Baxter for over 3 years now and have had a decent experience. Like many apartment complexes, there has been a fair share of maintenance issues and living here for multiple years, I've had interactions with several property managers / receptionists. What has made these issues bearable was working with Maeve Smith, the assistant property manager in the front office. She has consistently been the only one stepping up and proactively resolving issues outside of her job realm. I've really appreciated her attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism."
"I just moved in a week ago, but so far every interaction I’ve had has been a positive one! So happy with all of the light in my apartment and the amenities are fantastic. Still working on furnishings my small space to optimize efficiency, but the bones of the apartment are all on point. Especially the master bath. I moved from a 4500 square foot high end home and this place has made the transition super easy."
"I moved to Louisville from out of state this summer for dental school and I’m very happy that I chose the Baxter! The location is not even a 3 minute drive from the school and there are multiple people in my year that live here, so it’s very convenient for organizing study groups and for carpooling. Great finishes and decent amenities. I have no complaints thus far!"
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time and experience at The Baxter Apartments. However, as of recently, I have had a less-than- accommodating experience with the management and maintenance team. Four days ago, I noticed that I had a mouse living in my apartment. I immediately called emergency maintenance to have them take care of this issue. Hours later, I was reprimanded by the office manager for considering this an "emergency" and told that there were much more pressing issues at hand for maintenance to deal with. This was extremely frustrating because at this rate I had begun to notice mouse droppings along my apartment. Because of their lack of help, I was forced to go buy and set my own traps in order to catch the mouse. When explaining this to the front office, I was told that there was nothing emergency maintenance could do on the weekends. What is the point of emergency maintenance if they still only work weekday hours? This morning, four days after the mouse was first spotted in my apartment, I noticed more mouse droppings and that the mouse had still not been caught in a trap. The management team has still been less than helpful, and it is extremely frustrating to hear that other residents have had similar experiences."
