"This hotel went downhill fast since my last visit. Last Time I was here was roughly a year ago for business reasons. I got dispatched to the same location for work again this year for a brief period and I think I had a cleaner room at the motel 6 (0.2) miles away, which mind you is not made to be luxury hotel if you've ever stayed at a motel 6. First thing I check inside a hotel room is the bed and this is where problem number 1 arises from small bloodstains on 2 of the pillows to blood stains on the sheets. Not to mention I found a gooey and furry piece what I assume was either trail mix or caramel popcorn possibly a large booger I don't know and I don't want to know what it was wedged between the blanket and sheets when I went to remove the blanket. My assumption leads more towards sticky trail mix only because I found a FULL SIZED ALMOND on the carpet. I don't know how you miss a full sized almond while vacuuming but I probably could have found it feeling around the carpet blindfolded for 5min. The cigarette holes found in the blanket were probably the cleanest thing about the bed. There were also brown stains on the sheets that looked like someone rested their shoes on the sheets which led me to believe they weren't washed if the sticky and furry food crumbs didn't give it away. The bed skirt had enough stains it would put a frat house mattress to shame. The plastic piece along the bottom of the bed had splatter marks all along the base (Probably wasn't food or drink). Also Found in the carpet alongside the bed was an amber colored pill that looks like its been there long enough to dissolve and become one with the carpet. The chrome of the office chair was plastered in white stains. I went to use the microwave and even regret opening the door it just smelled so bad. If bacteria had a smell you could now describe it as (Baymont microwave) something wasn't right. Moving on with food things the refrigerator/freezer had a label put on it saying "To conserve energy this unit is turned "OFF". To operate, open refrigerator door turn dial to 4". Now I don't know how many of you reading this have ever put a refrigerator in storage but rule of thumb is to prop the door open to prevent mold from growing. At this point you've probably guessed correctly THE ENTIRE DOOR SEAL FOR THE FREEZER WAS COVERED IN MOLD. The freezer also smelled heavily of mold not even an weak attempt was made to deodorize the freezer without cleaning it. Moving onto the refrigerator...... You know that dial it said to turn to 4? Well I'm guessing someone broke the knob off as it was just a thin metal rod that was stuck into maximum power mode, and boy was maximum power too strong. I had a leftover burrito and a diet soda I decided to stick in the thing overnight and test my luck avoiding bacteria/mold poisoning but my bad luck saved the day and I woke up to a frozen coke and a burrito that needed to thaw in the microwave and ummmmm we all know thoughts on the microwave so lets just say I walked away with an empty stomach in the morning and no food poisoning. There was a straw wrapper between the nightstand and the bed. I found a 3 stink bugs in the room. One dead inside the LED wall sconce, One alive above the office desk light, and lastly one dead one in the bathroom. I flushed the one in the bathroom without taking a photo as I already neared 40 photos on my phone at this point. The other two stink bugs were left where I found them as its not my job to be an exterminator or fish out a dead bug from inside your wall sconce. Moving onto electrical the GFCI next to the sink should probably be updated to a 15Amp instead of the current 10Amp as modern hairdryers could easily exceed 10 amps if a guest decides to bring their own. Next one of your outlets fails Code 410.22 of the NEC (National Electric Code) in regards to Outlet boxes must be covered. I have other issues non electrical but ran out of characters allowed by google. Lastly No sound deadening from airport whatsoever."
"I’m 58 years old, been going to hotels all my life! This is the dirtiest hotel I’ve been to. The photos online need to be updated. The lobby and breakfast area had rodent boxes in clear sight. That should have been my first clue to turn around. Front desk and eating area was fine. Carpet in hallways was very worn, shredded in places and looked not vacuumed in weeks. Dirty qtips and small pieces of trash in the hallway & Still there the next day. Our room was filthy. All furniture was in bad condition. Tissue box was rusty, light switches were black from never being cleaned. Bathroom door badly stained. The Robin egg blue paint was all over the trim. The closed outdoor pool had trash all over. This place was so bad it was almost comical. Please update your photos!"
"Staff was very nice and friendly. The room was good, the air unit was cold enough to make us shiver after a little and toasty after heating. The hair dryer unfortunately didn't work in the room. Over all it was a good night sleep on a super comfy bed. They serve breakfast here and pool. The pool is outside and is seasonal."
"Check in is quick, easy. The staff is professional, courteous, accommodating and made my stay very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast has a variety of items. It is quiet and I will be a repeat guest."
