"Karen has absolutely abhorrent customer service. We came in as Instacart Shoppers and unfortunately decided to check out with Karen. She asked if we had an online order after scanning our first item. We said yes and showed her our Instacart app. She immediately got annoyed and sighed dramatically. She put her head in her hands and shook her head and said we have to show her the code before she scanned items. She made a big show about our “mistake” and sighed a few more times. When we finally got the transaction voided and then showed her our phone again to scan as she instructed, we realized she had made a mistake and didn’t need to scan our app. This would not have been a big deal if she didn’t try to still make it our fault, saying we misled her. She was very rude and continued making passive aggressive comments, sighing, and also refusing to do her job as a cashier. She wouldn’t move the conveyer despite us having heavy items, so we had to drag the items to her while she lazily held her scanner in one hand. She would stop and tell us to turn the objects to have the barcode facing her, instead of doing it herself. It was like self checkout but you have a nasty individual accosting you while you’re checking out. When my partner didn’t immediately offer the barcode side to her, rather than do her job and turn it, she commented “Wow, you guys are really mixed up today.” And “Is this your guys’ first time doing this?” She was so unbelievably rude and has no sense of respect for others."
"The Kroger@Alden bridge on research is the worst with incompetent people at the self check out and register. Linda, the worst with customer service, she is resistance to change anything that is eithier a weekly deals and clipped and ring up at wrong price. Linda literally want you to just not buy the item by making you wait 10- 15min for a manager to change the price that is literally Kroger price at the particular time. This occured yesterday 08/30/23@6pm after coming home from working. I went to the 1 cashier that they Kroger had working and he had an attitude and told me " she is only 1 person". I was so frustrated with both. Manager showed 10min later after Linda called saying " customer need help at self check out" which was very confusing to me as a customer; why couldn't she do it. She then asked me for my phone because she wanted to verified I clipped the apple juice that was to be $1.49 vs $2.49. I was so upset but would not leave bc she did this to me before when register had issues with price at self check out and I did not buy my groceries then. She is lazy and need to learn her job bc the manager even said " didn't we tell you, if this occur, to give the customer the clipped price". She was so resistant and that cashier was rude. Never again will I go there, who hired these people. Is this where our society is going, hiring passive aggressive nasty, lazy and incompetent individuals."
"Advised store staff and management several times, still with the same expired product on shelves after weeks. This store is a shame for the Kroger brand. Updated on 12/09/2022. Believe it or not, the same products are still on shelves, three months expired, even after communicating with staff several times… Today is 01/15/23, and they still selling products expired in Sep/2022."
"The lady at Starbucks is so nasty and when she doesn’t want to make coffee the way it should be made and when you ask her to correct it it’s a big problem. I ordered a venti shaken espresso and it looks like the coffee pot was to heavy for her to hold and pour coffee. Bring Debbie back cause this woman is too nasty and should not work with people. Thanks for a half a cup of coffee."
