"Third time I’ve come in recently and it’s 8 o’clock and there’s no red meat cut. Literally every single protein is coming off the shelves but this place has the absolute worst meat department. There’s one pack of ribeyes maybe two pack of New York strip no single cuts no nothing."
"Several times I have picked up my order and the fresh cut fruit ( cantaloupe mostly) goes bad in two days like smells and the liquid in the container is slimy. I don’t know if they are using old fruit, not rotating the stock or using bad practices in the kitchen. Beware. That’s my only problem as they generally do a great job otherwise."

"Favorite HEB! This store is well stocked in every department with lots of higher end products in addition to all the regular HEB faves. Excellent cheese and deli options, big section of prepped meals, HEB brand frozen dinners, fish counter, in store bakery, wide array of products in every category. Was delighted to find Mezzetta sauces, Whataburger condiments, San Antonio coffee blend k cups, and lots of other niche brands that I’ve come to enjoy. I drive a little further to shop here, especially for holiday or party hosting because so many fun options and special items."
"So we went to this store to get some fast lunch, and after walking around and getting price sticker shock on a lot of things, we decided to buy a couple of prepared roast beef and pimento cheese wraps. They looked great through the package, but when we opened them after leaving, we found them to be less than half full. The backs of both wraps were hidden in the package by the large stickers, so it couldn't be seen that the other end of the wrap was entirely empty. For $5.50, I wasn't expecting a lot but definitely wasn't expecting to be cheated like this; is this where HEB has decided to go? Looks like it... and adding insult to it all, a staff person on hand elsewhere in the store must have had a really bad day and wasn't hiding it. We definitely will re-think whether to shop HEB."
