"Don’t even bother booking Darwin. I booked a 9:30 am appointment and he said he got me the night before. I arrived at 9:00 , had to use an Uber becuase I’m a UT student and I don’t have a car on campus. The shop which is in a shady location, wasn’t even open. I contacted Darwin and he didn’t even answer. I sat for about a good hour before I called him and a random girl proceeded to pick up. This was just a truly bizarre experience and I guess that’s what I get for trying to look for a cheap and convenient location for a haircut. I am currently sitting outside of the shop and it completely ruined my day. The consideration for the customers time is close to nothing. I am a student at UT and I value my time because class can get busy. Because of this, I wasted my entire morning and I could have used the time better. Overall, I would not recommend this shop if you value your time. I can’t speak for the shop itself, but I would not recommend Darwin as a barber."

"For $20, I got the best haircut I've ever received. My barber used a combination of scissors, the buzzer and a straight razor. I was passing by Mario's and I needed a haircut so I stopped in. Unfortunately, I do not speak Spanish, but Gino was able to translate my ideal haircut for my barber. Other people have complained about wait times, but Mario's is really popular and the barbers take their time. So worth it!"
