"Method’s staff are fun, kind, and inclusive and the salon has won Best of Austin multiple times. The Cult + King products they stock (which you can try there) are where it’s at for me. Online scheduling and street or garage parking (both free) just make it easy. Highest honors here. And on to Master Stylist Doug at Method. My (male) hair has rocked his impeccable cuts for 15+ years, and they grow out so well that I look stellar at all times b/w appointments. His coloring skills are next-level. He’s highlighted my hair and masked greys with a gloss, both very natural and subtle (so it didn’t look like I dyed my hair). Other stylists literally approach me to compliment my hair while moving about Austin. I don’t let anyone else style my hair."

"Yesterday I saw Sophia for the first time for a rather dramatic cut. I went from medium/long hair to a short pixie cut. Of course I had nerves, but she exudes confidence and that helped me relax. She did not rush and went slowly, taking it but by bit until we got to a length (or rather lack of length) I was thrilled with. Throughout my cut she also took the time to educate me on the products she was using on my hair and sent me home with generous samples. The atmosphere of the salon overall is laid back, but still luxurious. Complimentary beverages are offered and parking is very easy. I highly recommend Sophia and I must give a recommendation for Jen Rische who has cut my hair before as well and is now at Method. She’s a hair Jedi! They are true artists and worth every red cent (and a nice tip!) and the 30 minute drive from north Austin :D"
