"As I am not from here, I do not have a specific hair stylist that I go to regularly in Lubbock, but I thought to myself that I would give it a try. The salon fit me in the day I called which was one of the FEW good things. (very unusual for a salon) I didn't have to wait and was seated immediately (so far, so good). I showed the hair stylist Martha Garza, a picture of what I wanted (balayage). She didn't look at the picture long which came across that she was very confident, which overall made me feel good. She then starts applying a large amount of bleach to my hair which I could then tell that it was little much than I had envisioned, but I thought, hey, she's the hairstylists, she knows that she's doing. After she washed and dried my hair I realized that it was WAY too blonde and definitely something I did not ask for. The appointment took about 3 hours (one hour was past closing, which I was very grateful for), but on the other hand it was not something I asked for. She asked what I thought about it and I think she noticed the terrifying look in my eyes and gave me the opportunity to come in to apply toner that'll take away the excessive blonde. I tried to put on a good face and kept thinking to myself that I could get used to this blonde. I paid $180 and tipped $10 because she stayed an hour late (even though I was unsatisfied). As soon as I got home and looked in the mirror, I noticed just how blonde my hair actually was. Not only was the color not what I asked for but the color was done horribly! There are chunks all over my hair where you can see where the foil slipped and left streaks. I immediately texted Martha asking if she could get me in to darken the blonde. I was thinking that this could possibly fix the streaks. The next day I came in and she put toner in my hair to darken the blonde. Unfortunately I came out looking the exact same from when I initially came in. Very unsatisfied and fed up, I asked to speak to the owner to get a refund. Of course the owner was not there so I had to wait until the next day. 3 days into this experience, 2 attempts to style my hair and the owner gave me a third of what I paid. Hazel offered to fix my hair but I politely declined because two times is enough. Trying to explain the situation to Hazel, who would barely let me get a word in, and then also rudely interrupted by Martha herself, I then became agitated. Both the women were putting words into my mouth and were very rude. THE WORST experience I have ever had with a salon and it's staff. HAZEL LOVE and MARTH GARZA are very unprofessional and need to take a 101 on how to speak to costumers. I never write reviews (good or bad), but I'm writing this so other people will steer clear. Honestly, an experience like this is not worth a penny so don't let them ruin your hair because mine is now fried!"

"The Salon was clean and modern. All the stylist were nice and gave a smiling greeting to everyone that came in. You don't have to wait long at the front desk for some one to come assist you. They also have a nice waiting area. I enjoyed my time while there. Hazel my stylist got me in at the last minute and trimmed my hair exactly like I wanted. Definitely will be going back."

"Awesome feeling to be back and get my extensions take care by the best!!! Amber and Martha are great not only with hair extensions, but also with coloring, styling and haircuts! I have had extensions for the last 3 years from blonde to brunette and everything in the middle. I moved to Dallas, and have tried different places, and I prefer to drive back to Lubbock so they can take care of them! In addition, they are less expensive than Dallas. Also, Hazel (the owner) is always around and she makes sure that you are always happy with the results."
