Her conduct was nothing short of appalling and lacked the basic empathy one expects from a healthcare professional. Despite the urgency of the situation, Dr. Powell displayed a shocking lack of compassion. Instead of attending to my son's needs, she callously rebuked me, stating, "You woke me up for this?" multiple times. Her dismissive attitude towards my child's distress was utterly distressing. Attempting to remind her of her professional obligations only momentarily subdued her insensitivity. However, her subsequent demeanor remained unhelpful and disinterested. It's disheartening to encounter a physician who not only lacks empathy but also fails to provide the necessary clinical support in critical situations. In a field where compassion and competence are paramount, Dr. Powell's behavior falls egregiously short. Patients deserve better treatment and support, especially when they rely on medical professionals during moments of vulnerability. I sincerely hope that this feedback prompts a reflection on Dr. Powell's part and brings about the necessary changes in her approach to patient care. No one should endure such callousness, especially when seeking medical assistance during distressing times."

"Dr Powell has been great! She is very attentive to the needs of our child and our concerns as parents. She takes time to answer any questions we have and address any concerns. She also makes an effort to let parents know what they are doing well, she doesn't get you overly concerned about small things when she has concerns. She lets you know what interventions are available then trusts parents to make the best decisions for their children. I definitely recommend her as a pediatrician."

"She really dropped the ball with my child. The previous doctor went to another location so my son was automatically switched to her as a newborn. I had been telling her my concerns for years (starting at 2) of him not talking. She didn't even take notes. I wasn't aware of the signs for autism at the time but I told her the signs. She didn't recommend anything. One day, she brought in a student doctor (my son was around 4) and started telling me things like he should speak clearly by now. I KNOW! I had expressed that to you before you tried to embarrass me and my son. It took too long for me to change doctors but I will not go back."
