"Dr. Wo and his office should not even be considered “medical professionals” within IU health. The lack of organization is absolutely despicable. After almost 10 hours of testing two weeks ago I had a nurse call so let me know that I have gastroparesis. Dr. Wood’s response to that was to continue my laxatives and physical therapy and that he would see me at a four month follow-up. He is WELL aware that I have not been able to have a bowel movement since this time last year and the whole point I am extremely frustrated, angry and upset. I have called the office several times trying to schedule an appointment and I have been told by several people that a front desk person named Megan is supposed to be calling me back to schedule and she has not done so. of me seeing him and having testing done for 10 hours is to figure out a solution as soon as possible. If he would’ve even read my chart, he would know that I have been trying that for almost a year now. I have called the office every day since then asking if I can schedule sooner and they pawn me off to another person. It is embarrassing and frightening that they continue to let their patients suffer. I will obviously be switching providers."

"I've had ulcerative colitis for 14 years now and recently moved to Indianapolis about 2 years ago. As I researched doctors in the indy area to treat me, IU Health Gastroenterology seemed to have the top rated doctors in the area. Since then, I have had some of the worst patient care from the GI department I have ever experienced from any hospital. Extremely long response times, mixed up orders for infusion treatments (sometimes orders were never sent through at all), almost impossible to actually speak to a doctor even if waiting days or even weeks for a response. This is a warning for anyone having moderate or severe symptoms of any gastrointestinal problems, this is not the hospital you want to go to if you need attention in a timely manner. I would have given it 0 stars, but apparently that isn't an option."
