"I would rather be amputated than to have to come back here to get therapy from the therapist i was seeing. The person generally read what to do out of a book every time i was there but felt the need to continually let me know of all the credentials they had and how experienced they were, every visit. The therapist was very domineering, condescending and a little "cold" personally. The therapy plateaued early and i was not improving. I mentioned this over the course of a month or more and the therapist just kept telling me "everything is great, going to be fine" etc... when it was obvious we werent improving. The therapist basically played both sides of the fence as long as it kept me coming back for visits and as long as it suited their agenda. I wanted to hope i would improve so i kept coming back. The therapist also threw me under the bus in many emails to my surgeon basically saying im not cooperating or doing my exercises after i mentioned that i might miss an exercise or two here or there. Next time i saw my surgeon he treated me with a terrible attitude that i believe was from the therapists emails. The therapist made sure to get the surgeon on their side and they both made me feel as though my therapy plateu'ing was all my fault when initially the therapist made me stay in a cast much longer than i should have because the surgeon couldnt be located for nearly two weeks as he went on vacation - when the injury should have gotten moving much quicker. Heck, the therapist even went a day beyond the max of when to take stitches out when i let them know, last time my skin grew over them - yes, they were hard to take out at a day after the max! In a nutshell the therapist seemed very amateur, especially for the body part they specialize in. I could have read info on the internet and ended up with the same result which is - my injury will never improve without another surgery and will affect me the rest of my life (its a body part i use daily). Thanks to both the surgeon and therapist for that! You know who you are ;)"
