"I was thoroughly disappointed in my visit to this office. I am even an employee at this hospital and my faith in healthcare was extremely lowered after this visit. I do not recommend anyone to see this group or trust them. I made this appointment over 3 months out to get the soonest appointment. I had a health concern that was extremely painful and caused many issues. The staff still would not see me after pleading my case to them. I ended up getting referred to a general surgeon. Of which had to perform a surgery to fix my issues. I am very thankful for that general surgeon to help me and take the time to see me so quickly. When I did end up seeing this GI practice, I was greeted to the front desk yelling at an elderly patient to sign a medical release form. Then admitting to the elder patient how they are just frustrated with their staff. I also saw over 6 staff collect to the front desk to order their DOORDASH lunch. Meanwhile the phone has been ringing for 10 minutes with no one answering. The doctor I saw did not even look at my chart till I talked for 10 minutes and had to repeat myself as they reviewed my health concerns. I was then asked “So, what do you want?”. I told them my one concern I needed help with and prescription that had helped in the past and dosage. I even said if you would like to start me out at a low dosage that is fine with me. Instead I got the response “I don’t mind bringing out the big guns at the high dosage.” The doctor wanted then to meet again in 6-8 weeks to see how the medication was and after she “reviewed my chart/procedures at other hospitals.” I felt as if I was the one doing all the work, basically prescribing myself and dosage. Then at the end when the MA or RN came in to go over the doctors and hospitals I had seen/been to, she did not even wait 2 minutes for me to log in to the other hospital’s portal to find the specifics she had wanted. Instead she said “Fine, I will just do it. Here is a print out of your next appointment date and time. Bye.” To say this depresses me, is an understatement. I have had my fair share of hospital patient care and seen many that are just seeming to get worse saddens my soul. I always try to take from these experiences how I never want to treat any patient of mine. No one deserves that. NO ONE. I get that there are days that are rough in healthcare that are hard. But that does mean to take it out on a patient under your care. We are hear to HELP others in need. I also could tell this was not just a “off day” for the office due to how the staff were treating each other and patients. Please seek care ANY other place but at this group. You are better off seeing a minute clinic to get the care you need."

"Great referral. The only thing I would have asked is for all doctors to look over a bit of my file and or called to see who I would need to see. I made an hour and a half drive to one doctor who stated I should have been referred to his colleague...and of course the other doctor couldn't make my appt. So I had to set another up. Better screening of patients for the specialty doctors."
