Mayfield Apartments

"Honestly, If I could give these a zero star rating I would. I had lived here for 21 months. In this amount of time I had 6 floods/plumbing issues, mice 4 separate times and numerous other issues. When it came to my flooding issues, my hallway was completely flooded 3 times due to sewage backup, my toilet leaked and my tub would not drain. I was without a shower and toilet on numerous occasions sometimes for days at a time. I was without my shower for 5 days. When I called about each flood, I was meant with silence each time until I would call over and over again. Then it would take long for them to get plumbers out to me. When it came to the mice I had expressed the concern I had mice in my apartment before seeing a mouse, they ignored my email. Once I saw the mice I then had to take care of the issue myself due to my landlord not answering the extermination company when they called for approval. I then had mice again that included being woken up by a mouse in my bed. I then had to take care of the mouse issue again due to my landlord not sending an exterminator. Then on several occasions the laundry facilities did not work for days at a time leaving an entire community without laundry. Trying to get ahold of the landlord company was horrendous, it would have been easier to get teeth pulled. I would email/call about a concern and would be meant with complete silence until I would email every email I could find on their company's page. I could not recommend against this place enough. A beautiful location, perfect center area of town, close to shopping and it was ruined due to poor management and rundown apartments. The apartments look nice in pictures and then you notice its all basically duct tapped together and told its fine. I called the hotline feeling like I had a gas leak concern and was asked if it was an emergency, uh yes? Turns out it was not a gas leak but the overpowering smell of rotting eggs and meat, sewage and others, it was god awful. They do not take care of their tenants nor do they care for their wellbeing This place was way too good to be true."

"How dare you leave my daughter without no air conditioning for 3 weeks. Would you like sitting in your house night and day with no air I. 90 degree weather. I'm sure you would have you air priority fixed asap. You people are a disgrace you should take off their rent for them suffering"

"Does anyone know how to even get a hold of management for this location? We've been approved since April early May this year. Not only getting pushed back constantly haven't even been contacted since May in regards to this. Originally move in date was 'latest' beginning of May 2021 then beginning of June 2021. Application already approved earlier this year in April. It's now almost August. Utterly ridiculous."

"Worst management ever seen in my life. The manager is very irresponsible. It has been around 3 months from the date when I filled an application form for the Apartment over there and paid $38, but she had never replied neither she had messaged or called."

"It’s a nice and secure place to live. Buildings are old and small but has all the facilities. Laundry is there in the property. It is very good for two people or a small family. Maintenance people are living in one of the apartments, so they are available for emergencies. Usually, all the houses are occupied always and people here are nice and quiet. The management do keep restrictions but it is for the safety of the tenants."
