"Rooms are clean but outdated. Need to go back to serving a full hot breakfast , not just snack food."

"The hotel may be a bit dated but some of the rooms actually have newer furniture as well as memory foam mattresses. Some rooms also have a Jacuzzi or a kitchen area with bigger fridge and counter top. Staff is friendly and helpful and it's the cheapest in Valparaiso area. I stay here when I am in the area."

"It's an older hotel so the rooms need updating and the walls are thin. Having said that I must commend the staff for having the cleanest hotel room I’ve had post Covid! The staff even came in and cleaned during my stay. Lol It's been so long since that’s happened at a hotel stay I had thought someone had broken into my room."

"The front desk exhibits a great care for guest service. I had a couple of minor issues and they were resolved quickly and courteously. The rooms are modern and quite comfortable. They have a swimming pool and judging how much fun the kids were having I would presume it is pretty nice. This property is one I would definitely stay again."

"Clean, well run, attractive, and surprisingly upscale looking decor (with the exception of simulated wood doors in the rooms). The lobby and rooms are dominated by huge black and white photos of downtown Chicago. I slept well, although the mattress was softer than what I'm used to. Breakfast was tasty, but the selection was very limited. The indoor pool and lovely woods behind the hotel were nice sirprises. The hotel exceeded my expectations."
