"We reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights. Upon going back to our room,we found a cockroach and then one by the elevator. Needless to say we left all 3 rooms. My wife talked with the GM and couldn't give us a complete refund due to the rooms being pre booked. They did give a half refund for one room, but that was it."
"You are paying a modern price for a very not modern hotel. Even simple accommodations like a drinking fountain for guests are absent. Stained bedding and upholstery, floors that sag under you. Embarrassment for the brand at $119 a night. Not up to IHG standards at all, and I'm not just talking about the construction. Yes, the place is getting renovated because it's very outdated, but today that just means that they don't have room for parking and it's loud. They will warn you at the front desk that construction starts at 8am, because that's when it gets loud. Platinum Plus member and they could only give us a 12:30 check out. The woman didn't even look up our account, so everyone just gets the same check out regardless of loyalty. Due to the hours we work, late check out is our primary reason for being rewards members. Other properties deal with check out times better. We come to this area about 12 times a year, normally we stay in Laport, and it seems like we'll keep doing that."
"I used to like to stay here, and would during every visit to campus. If I could give zero stars I would. Eight months ago I made a reservation here for Homecoming weekend. Before I drove three hours to get here, I still had a reservation. At least according to the IHG app. When I arrived, the woman at the front desk said I had an invalid card and they couldn't charge my room to hold it for my arrival. She then said someone there tried to call me but my phone number didn't work. I asked which number they called. She read me my working cell number. Then the story changed that they tried to call and there was no answer. I told her no number for the hotel was in my call history, and I had no voice-mail. I looked up the card I used and again, the woman lied. The card they "tried" to charge was valid; I used it as recently as yesterday. She lied about the invalid card and phone call. They overbooked and she was making up a story. Basically, it was first come, first serve on rooms. That is NOT how a hotel reservation works, especially if you make it months in advance."
"I have been a Holiday Inn member since 1992. I typically have had great service. However, this time it was EXCEPTIONAL! Jessica at the front desk was super and Martini in the breakfast are was amazing! It was so refreshing!"
"Easy to drive right past the entrance, particularly at night. There was no visible signage along the road. Hotel was undergoing renovations. We did not notice any evidence of construction on the inside of the hotel, but outside was very obviously under renovations. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast area staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Great stay, thank you!"
