"We had a last minute, unexpected health emergency which prevented a member of the family from living in an apartment during the contracted time. After a few months of negotiations, management worked with us, coming up with a financial compromise. We were thrilled!! We appreciated their sensitivity. The new manager, Michelle Riley, is a wonderful new addition!"

"I came and had a showing and i must say the new Property Manager I believe her name is Michelle she is great. She made sure that my family and I was comfortable as we waited for the Leasing Agent. The staff was very warm and welcoming."

"Would have left this place zero stars if possible. Miserable trying to work with staff to get anything accomplished; it took four weeks to get one light fixture fixed. It takes days (if not weeks!) to get email responses. You have to go into the office two or three times in order for them to actually send you the email they promised a week ago. A work crew (not affiliated with Uptown East apartments) has obtained a key fob to my apartment without my knowledge or consent, and they freely enter the apartment without any notice or knocking. No work orders have been placed for them to have entered. Over $1100 a month for a 400 sqft studio, and prices have sky-rocketed. Will not recommend, will not renew lease."

"NO STARS. My son selected Uptown East as he and several others on the Football Team already live there. The office staff is completely incompetent. We made an appointment to sign our lease and it took them over 2 hours to produce paperwork and then it was incorrect. They don't return emails or phone calls. The recent fire has produced more incompetence with almost zero communication. How can this property even pretend to be professional or attract new rents. They are the absolute worst run business I have ever worked with. My recommendation to other Valpo students, DO NOT and mean DO NOT seek an apt. at Uptown East!"

"I was there to visit a family member and was disturb at the scene on the patio. There were at least 20 people in a small space and all I could smell was marijuana. I came back and the crowd was gone. My aunt now feels safer to travel to & from her car, when she comes home late in the evening. Kudos to management."
