"Property does not value their tenants. On 4th of July weekend I was a day behind on my rent and was charged $75 and they said there is nothing they can do about it. Last month in November I had auto pay set up for rent. I decided to pay it a couple of days earlier and they still pulled my rent amount again on the auto pay day. I told management what had happened and they said there isn't anything they can do about it. So I called my bank and put a stop payment on the 2nd charge. The next day I was locked out of my payment portal and was assessed a $50 fee. I asked for a couple of weeks to have my portal unlocked and 3 days before rent is due I am told I have to drop a $50 money order to their corporate office which is nearly an hour drive from Cidermill Village. I never leave reviews even when I am upset about something, but I feel the only thing I can do left is leave a review and let everyone else know about it. Find a better property where good tenants are valued."
"My family and I love all Cider Mill staff. They are so sweet and kind. Our experience here has been marvelous. : )"
"Summer shindig of 2023 with tie dye T shirt. Fun!"
"Staff is wonderful...the system is horrible, while I was in the middle of filling out the application, I received a notification notice, while their system was having issues uploading my documents, the price I was quoted not to mention applying for that amount jump up over $35 dollars, it not that the price went up, and thirty-five dollars is not going to kill me. But it's definitely not what I expected while filling out the application. Don't give me that market price BS. That was just ridiculous not to mention a for sure turn off No longer interested."
"My wife and I lived here for 4 yrs while going to medical school at OU. We LOVED this place! So family friendly with great amenities, the best of which is their on-site maintenance staff. Our washing machine broke once and the very same day they came and installed a brand new, upgraded version! When our water heater went out on another occasion, they came and installed a brand new unit in less than 3 hrs from when I submitted the work order! The best maintenance service I've had living in any apartment. It is in a great location right by Yates Cider Mill, had a trail entry into the backside of Bloomer Park, and is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Very pet friendly. My wife would take our dog out for walks after dark around the neighborhood and she never felt unsafe. We had our first child towards the end of our stay here and felt it was a great place for kids as well. We loved having a connected garage and private front door. They do a great job with snow removal, and landscaping is fairly good as well. Our neighbors were friendly and never a nuisance, despite what others have said in the other reviews. Many young and old professionals such as doctors, retired business associates, and people building houses and waiting for completion lived here. I would say this place is on the upper-end of apartment living, even their smallest base unit is closer to a town house than an apartment. You can occasionally hear your neighbors through the walls but that comes with apartment living. We were on the top level so never had noise from above though and I don't think any of our neighbors had surround sound. It was not worse than other places I've lived, in fact I thought it was better. My only complaint is when it came time to renew our lease for the last year, even though I knew a year out we would be moving at the end of May for my residency, they wouldn't let us renew our lease through the end of May, they only gave us the option to renew for set intervals of 3,6,9,12,or 18 months. So we ended up signing through March and then going month-month for April/May and had to pay an extra $400/mo those last 2 months for going month-month. But many large housing companies are not as flexible as going through an independent landlord so it is what it is. Most of my classmates moved closer to Royal Oak after our second year of school to be closer to Beaumont hospital where we did our rotations, but we decided to stay and commute because we liked this place so much. A few things like the playground could be updated, but to us it was not a big deal. We were sorry to move out after I graduated to complete residency in another state. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone! They also gave us our full deposit back, which is rare in my experience for a property management company to do! We thought this was an A+ place to live!"
