Meadowfield Townhomes 786 Lawton Court, Rochester Hills, MI 48307

"I'm not sure what's up with all the weirdos leaving bad reviews that have never actually lived here but I was a tenant from 2016 - 2023. I had very few things to complain about during my time at Meadowfield. The staff (especially maintenance) were excellent to me, the grounds were well-maintained, and the location is good (next to the Clinton River Trail, close to downtown, Rochester Road shopping district, a mile from M-59, etc.). My unit had great neighbors and very few problems. The only reason for a 4 star rating is the rapidly increasing rent. The rent for new residents has risen 30-40% from what I originally signed in 2016. In my experience, established lessees don't get hit with huge increases but mine kept steadily creeping up every year. It was getting hard to justify the price and I finally decided to move elsewhere when I got the opportunity. That said, if the price doesn't phase you Meadowfield is a great place to live!"

"I walked thru a townhouse in late spring and decided against moving in. Few red flags—-old dial thermostat; squeaky, bouncy floor; outdoor patio was grassy area and was told would have to move any patio furniture every week for mowing; garbage area was messy highly visible area, with bees flying all around. Only plus was nice area in Rochester Hills."

"I had an excellent experience renting 2 townhomes for 12 months. The location is fantastic, the grounds are well maintained, I had good neighbors and the location is great. The staff was really easy going and responsive to get moved in and moved out. The maintenance guys were really responsive to the few issues I had - friendly and competent and worked through the issues quickly. I've rented a lot of places in my life and this was one of the best experiences I've had all around. If I wind up in Rochester Hills another year and need to downsize, I will definitely go back."

"I love my townhome and the neighborhood. The price is pretty decent and affordable for an upgraded unit in this area. The two front office ladies are kind and knowledgeable. More than accommodating, understanding and respectful. I just renewed for another year here and will probably stay for a few more. Also a plus how pet friendly they are. Almost everyone has a dog. Would be nice if we had a dog park!"
