"Great first impression at 3576 market place Cir Rochester Hills location! General Manager, John Malone and the staff under his leadership are amazing and professional. Our check-in experience was seamless, warm, and welcoming. John went over and beyond to ensure our arrangements were suitable and comfortable. Everything about our accommodations are wonderful- from the clean, stylish wood grain flooring [pleased there was no carpet], and a spacious layout that creates a comfort and pleasant experience. The public areas are also clean [carpet, elevator, laundry, etc.], and plenty of outside area shopping and dinning options. I highly recommend! Thanks John Malone, you’re the best! #stellar"
"Niah and Liz are awsome and helped us out with our room that needed a few details taking care of and they did not hesitate to help us out to make our stay perfect! Highly recommend"
"I only gave 2 stars because the employees that actually care bust their tails every shift they work to make guests as comfortable as they can. They have an infestation of roaches on the top floor, it is known by the manager and yet they still book rooms to unsuspecting guests. It isn’t totally their fault because they have guests who are basically tenants and have been there for a long time and are not clean at all. Not everyone who has a dog in the hotel are clean, which is why certain floors have awful smells and the elevator tends to smell very bad. The rooms seem like they were updated by someone that was paid under-the-table to do so. The front desk area is the best clean area of the whole hotel. Some employees hide in the back rooms and are on their phone, I had to call the front desk while I was standing there waiting for someone to come help me. I was moved from a room with roaches to what looked like a rage room because the counter top was damaged, there was a hole in the bathroom door and the front door was coming off the hinges itself. I didn’t really feel safe there by myself but I didn’t want to change room’s again just to find something worse. They only have one maintenance person who is very overworked and overwhelmed with countless tasks around the hotel. Honestly, I feel like it’s a fault with corporate because the hotel is understaffed and the little staff they do have is either overworked or not working at all."
"Don't stay at this hotel, terrible service. First they gave us keys to a room that still had people staying in it, so then they had to give us a new room. The rooms weren't terrible but the hallways smelled really bad. Also when we checked out there system was down so the lady at the front desk made a note and said she will make sure she checks us out before 11:00, well the next day we ended up getting charged for an extended stay. And we have called multiple times to try to resolve the issue and all they do is keep redirecting us to different people, nothing is being solved"
"Horrible! The rooms and hallways are filthy. The management always has an excuse as to why things are dirty or not functioning properly. They do not treat everyone equally. The people working the front desk that are NOT management constantly have to work more hours. One of the male “mangers” has got some serious issues for verbally abusing guests since he does NOT like to be called out for NOT doing his job. STAY AWAY!"
