"The maintenance people here are great! I was locked out all night and into the following day due to my lock being broke. Mike worked several hours on my door lock, got us in and changed my lock mechanism. He is very cool and comfortable to be around. Loved getting to know him and listening to his stories."

"Mike the maintenance man is awesome! He came over at 9am on a Sunday and spent several hours of his day to help us out. We were locked out of our apartment and he had to switch out the locks for us and it was very clear he knew what he was doing. He’s a very genuine and down to earth guy, and I’m glad I got a chance to get to know him. 10/10 would recommend."

"The fact that it has taken the City of Troy and news outlets to finally get Troy Place to fix something as essential as heat is beyond ridiculous. No one is answering the phones and the City asked us all to vacate the premises IMMEDIATELY. When I went to the office to inquire about information before I left on the 18th, the LR staff at the time reported that they were not reimbursing any temporary hotel stays. Instead, they tried to give me a space heater (which are notorious for burning apartments down) and a $50 gift card to Eddie Vs....... If any other residents read this review, check your lease and your renters rights on Troy.govs website as this is an mandatory prorate on your rent at minimum; or, an void of the lease agreement at maximum. Lawyer up if your need to. To Troy Place management, you should allow anyone who wants to leave to do so as you have not held up your end of the bargain in maintaining livable conditions and have been neglectful to the residents, in the least."

"Don’t move here. It’s negative degrees outside and the there’s no heat in the apartment. Leasing office and maintenance has been contacted several times since November to fix the heat. Still no update. Everyone has to utilize heaters to heat their place up. There’s no thermostat in our Unit. It’s controlled by the apartment complex. We were told it’s the boiler, the bleeder etc. Well here we are, we just had a winter storm, no heat, and it’s below freezing outside and still no heat! I would never recommend this place to anybody. To have no heat is illegal, inhumane and unethical. Nothing has been done."

"I recently took a virtual tour of Troy Place Apartment Complex, and the tour guide was very welcoming. She guided me through the building, showing me various options. While I haven't made my decision to move there yet since I'm considering other places as well, I must say I had a positive experience overall"
