"I lived here for almost two years and I really like it. The property team is very nice, the manager is friendly, the repairement team is fast (bascially within a day to come to fix). I also got full deposit back after move out. The surroundings are nice, there is good nature view, and convienent to connect bus, hospital."

"Their towing company and this apartment complex in general is just predatory. Considering that they even keep a copy of the parking permits in their office. They do not care about their tenants, it takes forever for maintenance calls to come do something. I had to deal with moldy food because their refrigerator was not working properly, and it took them a solid month or so to come fix it and then replace it. I also have a problem with the tub rusting and they just do not seem to care. Neither about the health and well-being of their tenants, or the upkeep of their propertes."

"I'm actually going to write a positive review about a landlord. Yes, they have open towing, no, this is not an unordinary thing for Ann Arbor. Open towing is where several tow companies are allowed to independently make the call within their complexes to tow or not, so there is a direct incentive for the tow companies to come without a prompted call, just like what would happen on a public street. They charge $50 a year for unassigned parking, which is very reasonable for AA. The guest parking kind of sucks and the swimming pool exists but should not be swam in. However, as an apartment to live in for college, It's completely fine. Maintenance comes quick (the 1-2 times throughout the year I needed them). Security deposit wasn't rent-and-a-half, which is a nice plus. Just park where you're supposed to park, warn your guests not to park outside of the designated zone, and everything should be fine. Buy some diatomaceous earth though, anywhere below ground level near any river in Michigan is going to have occasional ants and silverfish, but after dusting the corners I didn't have any issues."

"I lived here for four years. Because I work in the UM medical school, so the apartment location is great for me. However, as everyone here complained, the car is easy to be towed. I understand that if the apartment doesn't have strict management, the cars without campus parking will park here a lot, which will cause more inconvenience for residents. So my friend and my parent's cars were towed twice, and each time was $350. I didn't complain about that time. But now I am angry. My parents gave me a car, I documented it with the apartment manager, and I got the red permit which made me legally park my car in front of my apartment. And I didn't get my driver's license yet, so I can't drive it, just left my car there. But every day I will check whether my car is there or make inconvenience for other people. Until one Saturday, my car was towed. When I talked with the tow company, they said the apartment manager people complained and asked them to tow it. Also, because my tires had less air, the tow cost was $650. If I delay picking up my car, the everyday parking fee is $ 30. Also because I don't have a driver's license, I can't drive my car back to island drive. I need to ask the tow company to bring my car back, it is another $300. Therefore, I need to pay a total is $1000 for no reason to tow. It makes my labor day holiday feel very bad. What is worse, if I bring my car back and still park in front of my apartment, the same situation may happen again, and another $1000 will go. I don't know what to do, that is a lot of money for me."

"Its good place to enjoy with kids. And they have place for barbeque. Group parties can also be celebrated. Nice huron river. It's overall nice place for picnic spot."
