"An ordinary hotel doing some extraordinary things. Check in wasn't quick or smooth, but the service desk was courteous. They offered a complimentary glass of champagne at check in. The room was cozy and simple. Huge pool and nice workout room."

"I had my wedding reception at The Kensington Hotel on 10/21/23 in the Grand Ballroom. I could not have been happier with how my wedding reception turned out. The crystal columns were stunning and the room was gorgeous. I worked with Holly from the beginning and she was amazing. She was so helpful in answering each and every one of my questions, she was so easy and fun to work with, and she truly was a key part in making my dream reception come true. The food was absolutely delicious and all my guests loved it!! Ada and Melissa were also wonderful as they kept the dinner service on point and drinks flowing. My room block was smooth and Sunday brunch that we booked turned out great. I couldn't be happier."
"This is really a 4.5 rating, and I’m only taking 0.5 off because the bathroom was small and the pipes ran slowly. However, the hotel itself was really nice and close to downtown. The staff were excellent, particularly the front desk and the guy in charge of the Sunday buffet breakfast. I still remember his silly jokes. The pool was a great temperature and a good size as was the hot tub. Nice to have free parking and wifi as well. The staff and the amenities definitely made up for the small bathroom, so I do highly recommend this hotel"
